Hi there, I'm Melyssa Miller! As a mother of three and a local to Lake Wylie, South Carolina, I understand firsthand the joys and challenges that come with breastfeeding. I'm a certified International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) dedicated to supporting families in York County, SC, Charlotte, NC, and surrounding areas. I offer Telehealth lactation consults nationwide. Welcoming a new baby is a beautiful and emotional journey, and feeding your little one can sometimes bring unexpected challenges. As an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), my heart is to walk alongside you with gentle guidance, encouragement, and practical support that fits your family’s unique needs. Whether you are breastfeeding, pumping, bottle-feeding, or combining approaches, I’ll meet you right where you are. Together, we can: *Find comfort and confidence with latch and positioning *Create a plan that supports your milk supply and pumping goals *Explore bottle-feeding options, supplementation, or paced feeding *Navigate transitions like returning to work, weaning, or extended nursing *Support special journeys, including multiples, NICU graduates, and complex feeding needs Every family’s story is different, and there’s no “one right way” to feed your baby. My role is to provide compassionate, personalized care so you feel supported, confident, and connected during this special season.

Packages
Initial Home Visit
Initial consultations, typically can last ~90 minutes in length. Your personalized consult will include a comprehensive health history of both you and your baby. A pre and post feed weight check will be given, to better assess how well baby is transferring per feeding (this can include both bottle and or breastfeeding baby's). You and your baby will be observed during a feeding, and gently guided as needed. At the end of your visit you will be sent a personalized care plan. A superbill will be given for possible reimbursement from your insurance company.

Follow-Up Consult
Some breastfeeding concerns can be resolved in a single visit, but many benefit from ongoing support and updated care plans. We’re here to guide you every step of the way in your breastfeeding and pumping journey. Typical follow up visits are ~1 hour in duration. During your consult your baby's feeding session will be observed, and a weighted feed will be determined. We will assess your progress and make any adjustments to your care plan as needed. A superbill will be given for possible reimbursement from your insurance company.

Return to Work/Pumping Plan Consults
This consult is perfect for parents who may be returning to work, exclusively pumping, or building a freezer stash. We’ll help you find your ideal pump settings, schedule, and techniques to maximize milk output, protect your supply & make pumping more comfortable and efficient. At the end of your visit you will be sent a personalized care plan. A superbill will be given for possible reimbursement from your insurance company.
