The cost of a night nanny in Mountain View, CA can be influenced by several factors:

  • Experience and Qualifications

Nannies with extensive experience, certifications (e.g., newborn care specialist), or specific training often charge higher rates.

  • Number of Babies

Caring for twins or multiples typically costs more than caring for a single baby due to the increased workload.

  • Hours and Duration

Rates may vary depending on the number of hours per night, the total number of nights required, and whether the arrangement is short-term or long-term.

  • Duties and Responsibilities

Additional responsibilities, such as bottle preparation, light housekeeping, or sleep training, can increase the cost.

  • Time of Year

Demand during peak times, like the holiday season, may drive prices higher.

  • Agency Fees

Hiring through an agency often includes placement fees or additional charges for their services, adding to the overall cost.

  • Overnight Rates vs. Hourly Rates

Some nannies charge a flat overnight rate, while others charge hourly, which can influence costs depending on the length of the shift.

When considering hiring a night nanny in Mountain View, CA, it's advisable to research and interview several night nannies to find one who aligns with your preferences, needs, and budget. During consultations, you can discuss their specific services and pricing structure to ensure you have a clear understanding of what is included and the associated costs. This process will help you find a night nanny who meets your needs and fits within your budget.

Hello! My name is Lynda Pius, and I am a Certified Postpartum Doula based in the Bay Area, California. I am passionate about supporting families through their postpartum journey, providing a listening ear, compassionate care, and a welcoming presence. I hold a degree in Health Education and I am currently pursuing my second degree in Nursing, with the goal of becoming a pediatric nurse. I am committed to continually expanding my knowledge and skills. I am certified through reputable doula training programs and have also earned credentials as a Certified Nursing Assistant, First Aid/CPR for infants and adults, and have volunteered with organizations such as the United MSD Foundation as a professional ambassador. I believe the postpartum period can be a time of healing, connection, and peace when we create a supportive environment and use positive affirmations to nurture both parent and baby. My practice focuses on providing a judgment-free space where parents can access both emotional and informational support. In my free time, I enjoy reading to my baby, experimenting with new recipes, and listening to good music.

Having Lynda as my doula was one of the greatest blessings during such a vulnerable and life changing season. From the very beginning, she created a space where I felt safe, heard, and completely supported. Her calm presence reassured me in moments of uncertainty, and her knowledge gave me confidence in every decision I needed to make. She did not just care for me physically, she cared for me emotionally. Lynda took the time to explain things clearly, offered practical guidance, and supported my choices without judgment. That balance of professionalism and compassion made all the difference. What touched me most was the way she extended that same warmth and patience to my daughter. She was gentle, attentive, and genuinely kind, which meant so much to me as a mother. Seeing my child comfortable and cared for while I received support was incredibly reassuring. Because of Lynda, I look back on my experience with gratitude rather than overwhelm. I feel stronger, more confident, and deeply thankful that she was part of our journey. I wholeheartedly recommend her to any mother seeking not just a doula, but a steady and compassionate presence during such an important time.

I’m a certified Postpartum Doula, Certified Postpartum Nutritional Professional, Sleep Consultant and Lactation supporter. I’ve been working with families in the Bay Area for over 37 years and I absolutely love being part of this new phase of bringing a brand new baby home, weather this baby is your biological or adopted.

We are incredibly grateful to have had Rosangela as our doula during our baby’s first month of life. From day one, she was punctual, reliable, and—most importantly—exceptionally caring with our newborn. Rosangela supported us for four weeks and was flexible with her schedule, even accommodating our request for a later start. When her assignment with us was coming to an end, she went above and beyond by helping us find a second doula to ensure continuity of care as well as training that doula to ensure no disruption. Even after rolling off, she has continued to check in with us, offering guidance and thoughtful support, which has meant so much during the postpartum period. During her time with us, Rosangela supported night feedings by gently waking both mom and baby, assisted with latching, burped the baby, and handled diaper changes throughout feeds. She supported our baby’s first bath, helped with baby laundry, and took care of all breast pump setup and cleanup—assembling parts, washing them, and making sure everything was ready for the next pumping session. These details made an enormous difference during those early, exhausting weeks. She consistently offered helpful advice and reassurance, always in a respectful way that made us feel supported rather than directed. Rosangela brought a calm, nurturing presence into our home, and we truly felt that our baby was in loving, experienced and capable hands. We wholeheartedly recommend Rosangela to any family looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, and dependable doula. She was an invaluable part of our postpartum journey.

Hi, I’m Sheila. I’m a faith based birth & postpartum doula, photographer, and most importantly, a mom who knows how deeply personal this season of life can be. Becoming a mother myself changed the way I see birth. I remember the emotions, the questions, the vulnerability, and the overwhelming feeling of wanting someone beside you who simply gets it. That experience is what led me to doula work — because I wanted to become the person I wish every mother could have in her corner: someone who listens without judgment, stays calm when things feel overwhelming, helps you understand your options, and reminds you of your strength when you need it most. With over six years of experience working with children and families, professional doula training, continued mentorship, and my own experience as a mom, I bring both knowledge and genuine heart into the room. I’m not there to take over your birth or tell you how it should go — I’m there to learn you, support your wishes, help you feel prepared, and be the steady presence you can lean on. And because I’m also a photographer, I have a special love for capturing the little moments you may not even realize are happening — the first touch, the tears, the tiny details, and the way your family changes in an instant. My packages can also include birth photography, postpartum meal prep, and a postpartum visit, so my support doesn’t simply end when your baby arrives. I want you to feel like you found your person someone you can text, laugh with, cry with, ask the “is this normal?” questions, and feel completely comfortable being yourself around. If you’re looking for someone who will care for you like a person, not just a client, I’d love to meet you. 🤍

My path to postpartum work began with my own experience as a new mother of twins. I know firsthand what it means to be undone by those early weeks — the exhaustion, the emotion, the strange beauty of it — and I know what a difference it makes to have someone steady beside you. That's what I'm here to offer. For most of human history, new mothers were surrounded by community support for weeks after birth. That's no longer the norm — but it doesn't mean the need has gone away. It just means most families are navigating this time without the help they were always meant to have. My approach is relational, responsive and practical. I bring genuine care, capable hands-on support, and a deep reverence for this time in your life. I believe the postpartum weeks deserve to be more than just survived. With the right support around you, they can be something you look back on with real tenderness. That's what I want for you! I'm a certified postpartum doula trained through Cornerstone Birthwork, a twin mom of 6-year-olds, and someone who finds meaning in the everyday practices that sustain life — good food, unhurried presence, and a little humor when it's needed.

It is with great joy that I recommend our postpartum doula, Kelly Franson, www.daymoondoula.com. We hired Kelly to support our family for three months postpartum as we navigated life with our second child. Kelly began her work with us the day we came home from the hospital. We walked into a home full of flowers, homemade tea blends, beautiful snacks, warm porridge on the stove, and a bedroom prepared for rest and care. Over the days and weeks, Kelly became my companion; she listened as I processed my birth, navigated breastfeeding challenges, and learned how to care for both a toddler and a newborn. I was fragile, and she was steady. She is a creative thinker, helping two sleep-deprived parents find more ease in our home, whether through practical support (how to set up our space more effectively) or more nuanced guidance (how to support our toddler through such a significant transition with the arrival of a new sibling). Other words that come to mind when I think of Kelly are patient, warm, present, reliable, wise, and funny. What better qualities to have alongside you in the postpartum period? With her, I was not alone. Because I now have two postpartum experiences to draw from—one without Kelly, and one (thankfully) with—I can clearly see the tremendous value she brings to the intense and beautiful fourth trimester. Please message me if you have any questions!

"I can not recommend Jenn (Destiny Doula) enough! After having a c-section with my first born I was determined to have a vbac for my second pregnancy and wanted extra support to ensure that my wishes were heard! I started searching for a doula and after chatting with Jenn on the phone I knew she was a perfect fit. I was concerned for my husband when it came time for labor and delivery wanted to be sure that he was also taken care of so I could remain as calm as possible! Jenn is a saint, she listens and understands to what you’re wanting and she knew what to do to help me through labor when I didn’t even know what I needed. I still remember the calming smell of the essential oil she had misting in my room, the dimming of the lights and quieting the beeping machines. She’s like a Mary Poppins; she rolls in with everything needed and is so reassuring without stepping over your wishes at anytime. After 12 hours and vomiting through labor she was there to welcome our baby girl all while documenting it through pictures that I didn’t even realize were being taken. I cannot thank her enough for empowering me and helping me have the birthing experience I desired.
