I cannot describe the emotionally charged helplessness you feel as you watch your wife, partner, go through this incredibly intense process, often with no idea of how, or even if you can assist. Julia knew exactly how I could assist, expressed it gently and direct. She helped us negotiate with the hospital staff respectfully. She was incredible at managing my wife’s moments of pain and fear. I can’t say enough positive things about Jana. Both of my children adore her. She is passionate about children and it shows in the way she cares for them. She was my postpartum doula after the birth of my son and I can’t imagine having gone through that experience without her!!!!
