Hi, I’m Lara! Heres a little of my background story: I am a mom of two boys under 5 and a former postpartum and newborn care nurse. I worked as a nurse for 10 years (5yrs on a Labor & Delivery unit), caring for postpartum mothers and babies after delivery as well as newborns in the hospital nursery. After having my second child, I became a stay-at-home mom, and now I’m excited to use my experience to support other families during such an important season of life. I offer compassionate postpartum and newborn support to help new parents feel more rested, confident, and cared for during those first days and weeks at home. Whether you need an extra set of hands with your newborn, reassurance, help with feeding routines, bottles and baby care, light household help, or simply time to rest and recharge, my goal is to provide calm, dependable, judgment-free support tailored to your family’s needs.

Hello families! My name is Bryannah and I am a trained postpartum doula and newborn care specialist. My background started in pharmacy before pursing a career in childcare where I grew my skill set as a nanny and infant teacher. I finished my formal training in postpartum and newborn care after studying to be a perinatal mental health therapist. My joys of taking care of newborns and babies led me to pursue doula work full-time. I consider myself a jack-of-all-trades for parents. I have a bit of experience in many facets of care including sleep conditioning, supporting perinatal health including mood disorders, and am eager to learn and grow. I pride myself on being trauma-informed, LGBTQIA+ affirming, believe that pregnancy and birth can be healthy at any size, and work best in an environment that fosters parent/caregiver collaboration. The newborn trenches can be difficult and by no means is every experience “picture perfect” but I would love to be a part of your village and we can figure it out together one step at a time!

Hi! I’m Credence, a Newborn Care Specialist with 8 years of professional childcare experience, including 5 years working as a private nanny. I have extensive experience supporting infants and young children and love helping families feel confident, rested, and supported during the newborn stage. My approach is calm, nurturing, and responsive. I believe every baby and family is different, so I focus on learning each family’s preferences and routines rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. I’m comfortable with overnight newborn care, feeding support, soothing, establishing healthy routines, bottle preparation and cleaning, and keeping parents updated while still allowing them to get the rest they need. I’m dependable, respectful of each family’s parenting choices, and always aim to be a reassuring presence in the home.

Hello! My name is Nancy and I am a birth and postpartum doula in the greater Boston area! I am 26 years old and believe everyone deserves an empowering and loving birth experience and postpartum journey. I have been a Doula for about a year now and an OBGYN nurse for about 3 years. Hi all. I'm Courtney, a certified Full Spectrum Doula in the Southern NH, Northern MA area. I started Leitay Birth and Life services with the goal to provide knowledge, care, and a nonjudgemental set of ears to every person and/or couple I support. I like to empower families by allowing them the space to ask any questions, talk through any uncertainties, and express all of their joys, hopes and fears. I know firsthand how wonderful the right care team can be, and also know how easy it is for individuals to feel overwhelmed or uncertain while navigating within the healthcare world. Birth and postpartum are some of the most delicate times we experience as human beings. While beautiful, awe inspiring and life changing, they are also times of great vulnerability. Human connection is one of the greatest gifts and I hope my connection with the families I support will provide some level of peace, confidence and strength as we walk through our journey together!

Pregnancy, childbirth and new babies have been my passion since I first found out I was pregnant over 16 years ago. My birth and postpartum experiences - both wonderful and challenging - fed my spirit and inspired me to give back to other new parents. This passion has stayed with me through the years as I've worked with families and my own children have grown. I have both LIVED and LEARNED experience with pregnancy, birth, postpartum, newborns and new parenthood. I am excited to help you and your family along your journey of parenthood in an open, non-judgmental manner. From pregnancy through birth and beyond, my support, knowledge, and experience can help you become the parents you know you can be. I would love to help ease the many transitions that a new baby can bring, help you build confidence in your abilities, and provide support for all your new family needs. I look forward to supporting you along this joyful, exciting, and amazing adventure! I am here to help YOU, expecting and new parents, to feel sure of yourselves in your roles by shining light on your own innate intelligence and that of your new baby. I am excited to teach you the basics, the truths, and the skills to confidently prepare for, enter, and beautifully navigate postpartum and new parenthood.

As a doula, I not only bear witness to the birth of babies, but to the birth of parents. I watch in the background as parents harness their strength to unspeakable levels, welcoming the newest, littlest members of the family with emotions that swell and carry the room. As you draw from your inner core strength, physically and spiritually, I am in awe. And I recognize that you deserve continuous support services throughout the first year of your child’s life to ensure optimal outcomes for your beautiful family. Learn more about the principles that dictate Aila Birth Village by clicking here. Aila, pronounced I-la, means “from the strong place”. As such, I am committed to providing you with the support and resources you need to effectively build up your family. My expanded services now include antepartum support, birth support, postpartum support, childbirth education, breastfeeding education, infant sleep consultations, and even a special Back to Work planning program. I believe that you have a fundamental right to experience a beautiful birth as you define it. I recognize that this is a sacred, transformative time for you and your family, and I will treat it with authentic reverence. This means your feelings should be heard, your preferences should be honored, your reproductive rights respected, your heart protected, and your body enveloped with the love and support of your birth team. To this end, I provide you with evidence-based tools and resources that places you and your baby’s needs at the center. No matter the setting of birth - hospital, birthing center, or home birth – and no matter the type of birth – vaginal, c-section, or via surrogate - your birth can be empowering. My hope is that my support is virtuous and exemplary and this is reflected in how you feel during our time together.
