About me

Hi, I’m Nia , a newly certified doula with a passion for supporting mothers through one of life’s most powerful transitions. Whether you’re planning a home birth or a hospital delivery, my goal is to help you feel informed, confident, and deeply supported every step of the way. Birth isn’t one-size-fits-all. I’m here to offer calm, compassionate care, grounded education, and advocacy for your choices during labor, birth, and beyond. Your story matters, and I’d be honored to be part of it. Birth is not just a medical event; it’s a life-altering rite of passage. I’m honored to help make it one filled with strength, clarity, and deep respect for your voice and your body.

Service introduction

As a birth doula, my goal is to support you through one of life’s most powerful transitions. I provide personalized, non-judgmental support tailored to your unique needs and birth preferences. My services include: • Physical Comfort & Pain Management: I offer hands-on techniques such as counter-pressure, massage, and position changes to help manage labor pain naturally and effectively. I work with you (and your partner, if desired) to create a calm and supportive environment that promotes comfort and progress during labor. • Breathing & Relaxation Techniques: Together, we’ll practice simple yet effective breathing exercises that help regulate stress, promote focus, and support your body’s natural rhythm through each stage of labor. These tools are also useful before birth and during postpartum recovery. • Emotional Support & Advocacy: I am here to listen, validate, and guide offering continuous encouragement through the highs and challenges of pregnancy, birth, and beyond. I also help you understand your options and advocate for your choices in both home and clinical settings. My role is not to replace your partner or medical provider but to add steady, informed support to your care team. Whether this is your first birth or your fourth, my presence is rooted in respect, compassion, and trust. Birth is deeply personal and you deserve to feel supported, seen, and strong every step of the way.
