The care would be for me, this would be my second baby, I would need help about 3 to 4 times out the week when my husband has work, I would need help with night feeds since I have a toddler, getting my baby to sleep on their own so I can get enough sleep, light household chores such as meal prep, laundry, dishes, etc… it would start when I come home from the hospital because I am having a my second C section. I am a single mom without the strong support of the babies father. I’m looking for someone to be ‘my person’ and advocate for me during birth. I am also a person who leans to the holistic side of things and am a big spiritual believer in Christ. I am only 14 weeks and am uneducated in birth so a doula would be helpful. Hypnobirthing knowledge is a plus or knowledge working with high risk( I have POTS) ask me questions !
Primary focus is a birth doula, but also interested in a night nanny. TBD on hospital, it will be in Henderson NV. My birth plan is to avoid unnecessary interventions, delayed cord clamping, immediate skin-to-skin. I plan to try labor without an epidural initially. Open to pain relief options if labor becomes too difficult. Also, prefer to push in positions other than flat on my back if possible.
I’m expecting my second baby on December 5, 2026, and giving birth at Summerlin Hospital. I’m 22, and this time around I really want a birth doula by my side, that’s my biggest priority. Since my partner will mostly have his hands full watching our toddler, I’m looking for a doula to really be there with me and assist through labor. Postpartum or overnight nanny help would be an amazing bonus on top of that, especially with a newborn and a toddler at home. I have Anthem Medicaid, so I need someone who accepts it, and beyond that I’m easygoing, just looking for someone with at least a year of experience. Light housework help would be nice but isn’t necessary at all.
