Prior to becoming an IBCLC, I was a breastfeeding mother of two. I struggled to breastfeed my first born and I was so determined to make it work! I found it very hard to find lactation support, so I did a lot of late night/ breastfeeding session google searching for answers! It was not pretty! The advice online was not helpful as everyone had a different experience! I finally found a few county IBCLCs who helped me, and the rest was history. I breastfed my first for 23 months and my second for over 3 years.
