I have a genuine passion for maternal well-being, and I am committed to providing unwavering support to expectant mothers. I advocate and ensure that your voice and choices are respected and heard during medical interventions. As an African American doula, it is essential to acknowledge the persistent disparities in mortality rates among black and brown women. I am committed to providing a supportive and empowering birthing experience actively addresses the unique challenges faced by black and brown mothers, contributing to the broader effort to reduce these disparities..

As your doula, I believe in the transformative power of emotional and physical support during childbirth. I offer continuous emotional support to both the birthing person and their partner. I will provide encouragement, reassurance, and a calming presence during the labor and birth process.

I love Perri! She was there for me last minute for my birth and i wouldn’t have made it without her. She took on almost everything and got me to understand the nurses and doctors. As a single mom i was overwhelmed, nervous, terrified, and more. With with all that, I’m glad she showed up last minute when she was called because i had literally no one that could be there and by the grace of god she showed up and so did my sons godmother. She doesn’t just stop at the hospital. Still, throughout my postpartum, she has still given me 110% support and is able to guide me into motherhood smoothly. She will forever be apart of our lives. I 100000/10 recommend her to any mothers in need of a supportive doula.

I had the pleasure of having Mrs.Perri as my Doula, who was always there for me! As I went through a breakup during my pregnancy she became my support person at doctor appointments. She would check in and offer help as needed. A great person, funny, relatable, and bubbly personality all around. My baby waited for her to come back from her trip and decided to make his debut just in time lol. She was there with me at the hospital over 12hrs. I Went from natural to epidural; She comforted me mentally/emotionally when I was crying due to my switch in my birth plan. I had Terrible back labor pain, her massages were clutch and I changed positions soo many times because of it. My baby boy came out 9lbs 10oz! Glad I had the epidural. AN AWESOME DOULA & PERSON ALL AROUND! 🫶🏽🤎 We love Mrs. Perri

Perri is amazing!! I think every pregnant woman should have a doula, one like Perri. She attended appointments with me during my pregnancy and helped me get my point across to my obgyns. She would answer every single one of my questions&concerns, no matter what time of the day or night it was & helped put my mind at ease. She was right there when I arrived at the hospital to be induced and held me and talked me through my entire delivery, she never left my side. I know for sure if she wasn’t there I wouldn’t have gotten through it. She made sure the doctors didn’t pressure me into any decisions I didn’t want to make right then and there. And even now that I’m postpartum, she checks on me everyday, she stops by, she’s attended my personal appointments and even helps with my other kids. She’s such a blessing to my family and I. I’m so glad that I found her. If you make the decision to get a doula, get mrs. Perri grant. She is literally the best at what she does, it doesn’t get better than her!!
