Haley Foulkes

Hi, I’m Haley Foulkes, a Birth and Postpartum Doula, Reiki Master, and provider of Ayurvedic-inspired postpartum care serving families throughout the greater Seattle area. My passion is helping families feel supported, informed, and cared for during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum transition. As both a mother and doula, I understand how important it is to feel seen, heard, and supported during this season of life. My approach is centered around autonomy, informed choice, and compassionate care. I believe every family deserves support that honors their unique needs, values, and goals. I provide evidence-based emotional and physical support while incorporating restorative practices such as belly binding, herbal nourishment, gentle bodywork, Reiki (upon special request), postpartum recovery support, and closing ceremonies. My goal is to help families feel grounded, confident, and nurtured as they navigate this transition. I support all family structures and strive to create a calm, nonjudgmental space where parents feel empowered and never alone.

I’ll be honest. I wasn’t sure what to expect when we hired a birth doula, but I can’t imagine our labor without Haley. She supported both my wife and me from day one. During labor, she stayed calm, guided us through every stage, and helped me be the partner I wanted to be. Her experience and steady presence made our hospital birth feel so much more peaceful and empowering. The biggest thing I noticed was how safe and confident my wife felt with Haley by her side. If you’re looking for a compassionate birth doula, pregnancy support, or labor support, I can’t recommend Haley enough. She was one of the best investments we made for our growing family.

Dylan Colt

While the world is often described as being made up of hunters and gatherers, I have always been a fire tender. I am awake and alert through the night, tending to the quiet rhythms of sleep and the well-being of those around me. While families rest deeply and safely, I hold the space—watchful, calm, and present—so warmth, comfort, and care are never interrupted. Creating a peaceful nighttime environment where babies feel safe and comforted, and parents are able to rest and feel supported, is deeply fulfilling. Night work is sacred. It’s in these hours that healing happens, bonds are strengthened, and rest becomes truly restorative. As a night nanny, my role is to protect that rest, ensuring babies are soothed, parents can fully let go, and the household remains peaceful until morning. I tend the fire so your family can sleep. I’m often described as soft-spoken, skilled, and a little silly, and I bring warm, attuned, and gentle care into all of my work with children. Being trusted with such a quiet, intimate part of a family’s early journey feels very special, and I approach it with great respect, attentiveness, and care. I’ve worked with families for over 10 years and have an abundance of glowing references available upon request. I value open communication, collaboration, and consent based, gentle caregiving practices, and I prioritize finding a strong mutual fit with the families I support. My expertise is in multiples, trauma, premies, and infant health issues. Rest is waiting. Let me hold the night.

Dylan is great with baby Prashanth. He has worked with us on many occasions and did a great job with baby keeping him engaged. Doing tummy time exercises. We also suffer terrible allergies and I had made a special request to follow a few protocols which he respectfully did follow through every time. Highly recommend!

Kayla was both my birth and postpartum doula and I had an incredible experience with her for both. Before birth she did classes with my husband and I so that we would feel more prepared on things like the labor process and infant care. During these she was incredibly knowledgeable. She had lots of information prepared and also answered any and all questions we had. She clearly put a lot of thought into what information was important to go over and I left feeling much more knowledgeable than before. During my labor experience she was supportive, caring, and knowledgeable every step of the way. I had a very long labor that ended in an unplanned c section and I feel like without her the experience would've felt impossible. She not only supported me but also supported my husband during this experience and he feels strongly that she made our experience so much better by being there. She also was my postpartum doula. I completely trusted her with care of my newborn and she did an amazing job. I tend to be an anxious person but she is someone I feel 100% comfortable around. My daughter loves her and she took great care of her. She also was very knowledgeable and supportive during this time and had many tips that made the postpartum period much easier. I'll always be grateful for her and I would recommend her to anyone.

We hired Esme as a postpartum doula to help us get some sleep during the first months with our newborn. As first-time parents, everything felt overwhelming. We were also a bit worried about having someone new in the house at night, but Esme made it feel easy from day one—we felt comfortable with her right away. Esme was honestly a lifesaver for us in those early months. We feel very lucky to have had her support. Our baby would often wake up crying at night and was hard to soothe, but Esme handled those moments with such calmness and confidence. She clearly knows how to work with newborns, and that’s not easy to find. Our daughter felt comfortable with her, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. What stood out the most was how calm she stayed, even during more intense moments. That calm presence really helped our baby settle much faster. We would absolutely recommend Esme to any new parents—she makes a huge difference, both for the baby and for your own sanity and sleep.

We had such a wonderful experience with our doula, Dana. She was incredibly supportive, knowledgeable, and caring throughout the entire process.
