I am a second-generation doula with a passion for supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum! I am a trained as a birth doula through DONA International, and am certified for postpartum care through DNT Network. I am also privileged to be apart of the wonderful team at Leilani’s Wellness Center and Breastfeeding Fixers. With an undergrad in Early Childhood Development, I combine my educational background (I am a huge nerd!) and passion (with a huge heart!) to provide gentle guidance and care.

Recent review

I can’t say enough good things about Megan—she was an absolute godsend during the postpartum period. From the moment she walked into our home, she brought a calm, nurturing presence that made me feel supported, seen, and truly cared for. She was incredibly knowledgeable, respectful of our space and routines, and seemed to intuitively know what I needed—whether it was a warm meal, help with the baby, a listening ear, or just some time to rest. Her gentle guidance helped me build confidence as a new parent, and her emotional support was just as invaluable as her practical help. I always felt safe and never judged, which made a huge difference during such a vulnerable time. I’m so grateful to have had her by my side in those early weeks, and I honestly don’t know how I would’ve made it through without her. Highly, highly recommend her to any new parent looking for compassionate and professional postpartum care.

Hello! My name is Jessica—also known as Jess or Jessie—a birth doula proudly supporting families across Temecula and San Diego. My journey into birth work has been deeply personal, as I became a mother at seventeen and just recently welcomed a new baby to my family last summer. Born and raised in southern Illinois and married to my wife who grew up in Israel, I blend Midwestern warmth with global perspective in every birth I attend. Having experienced motherhood as a teenager and supporting my wife through her cesarean journey, I understand firsthand the many ways birth can unfold. My mission is to empower and uplift women of all ages—whether they choose home birth, a birth center, or a hospital setting—and to honor every birth story with compassion, respect, and celebration. I’d be honored to support you on yours.

Recent review

Jessica was a major reason why I was ultimately able to accomplish my goal of an unmedicated birth with my first baby! Her pre-birth sessions really helped prepare us for what to expect at the hospital and the birth plan she made for us helped keep the medical staff aligned with our goals. In the delivery room, no offense to my husband who was great too, but it was so valuable to have her by my side during labor especially when the nurses weren’t in the room. She kept me confident in achieving my goal even when I thought about asking for medication. She has visited several times after birth and has been so generous with her time, expertise, and even amazing cooking! We still keep in touch to this day. I highly recommend working with her!

Hello! Are you looking for in home Childbirth Education or Postpartum weekend support? Thank you for looking at my profile. I'm excited to learn all about you and how best I can support you! I have worked as a Nanny for 17 years and I'm a mother to 4 of my own who are now adults. I work with a local postpartum doula agency but I am able to take clients that I meet on my own. Like you! I am registered on Trustline with a clean background, and CPR certified. I have completed 2 DONA workshops, Birth Doula and Postpartum Doula, but still working on my certification. I am a certified Childbirth Educator through Cornerstone Doula Training. The services I provide are: *Childbirth Education from a physiological standpoint and evidence based information. *Postpartum Doula support for overnights or daytime schedules. What that includes is a list created with you. Like many of us who have decided to become Doulas, I would like to provide the support and resources that I would have enjoyed. I have vivid postpartum memories of struggling to get through each day while absolutely sleep deprived and so stressed that I'm doing everything wrong. My goal is help you rest, feel nourished, and supported! I know that each parent and family are unique! My goal is to learn from you how can I support you. I'm not going to walk in assuming that I know how you feel or what your needs are. Every person is different! My fees are on the lower end than those you find with Doulas and Childbirth Educators with experience specific to birth work. Thank you for reading! I look forward to working with you.

Hi, Im Andrea. Founder of Maternal Haven, Birth + Postpartum Doula, Childbirth Educator, and Creator of the Haven Circle™ Model of Care. I support families through the deeply transformative journey of pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. Guided by the Haven Circle’s core pillars of connection, continuity, restoration, and community care, my approach blends holistic healing with evidence-informed practices to create a grounded and nurturing experience for every family. I specialize in providing intentionally curated labor, birth, and postpartum support that honors both traditional wisdom and modern perinatal needs. My work bridges the gap between these worlds ensuring families feel truly held, informed, and empowered as they step into parenthood. Through Maternal Haven, I offer care that is restorative, culturally mindful, and deeply personalized. Because your journey deserves a circle of support that evolves with you, every step of the way. The Values That Shape My Work: I’m a first-generation Latina raised in a multigenerational household where caregiving was shared, community was central, and support was collective rather than individual. I grew up with a deep understanding of the “village”, mutual aid, interdependence, and emotional presence as foundational to well-being. Those early values shaped my path into caregiving. I began my work supporting families as a nanny during children’s most formative years, and later transitioned into birth and postpartum doula care, childbirth education, and mentorship for emerging doulas. Across each role, one belief has remained constant: meaningful support is built through continuity, not urgency. How I Support Families: My approach sits at the intersection of emotional wellness, cultural humility, and practical guidance. I honor ancestral knowledge while also supporting families as they navigate modern perinatal systems and healthcare structures. Through Maternal Haven, I offer support that evolves as families’ needs change, providing steadiness across pregnancy, birth, and postpartum rather than isolated moments of care. A Circle of Care That Grows With You: Whether I’m facilitating a prenatal session, supporting someone through labor, or offering quiet presence during postpartum recovery, my intention remains the same: to help families feel informed, supported, and confident as they step into parenthood. Your journey deserves care that is thoughtful, restorative, and personal. Care that adapts as you do. Care that walks with you, every step of the way.

Laci Mattson

My journey to becoming a mother was not easy. I had two very different and difficult births that taught me a lot about myself and the challenges of childbirth. My first birth was a long and exhausting labor that ended in an emergency cesarean. I felt scared, helpless, and disappointed that I couldn’t have the natural birth I wanted. My second birth was a planned cesarian, I felt unprepared, anxious, and overwhelmed by the intensity of the experience and felt guilty for not trying to deliver naturally. Both of my births left me feeling traumatized and in need of healing. These experiences made me realize that there is a gap in the traditional healthcare system when it comes to supporting mothers during birth. I felt that I didn’t get enough information, education, or emotional support from my providers, and that I had to advocate for myself and my baby. I decided to become a doula to fill that gap and to help other mothers have a better birth experience. As a doula, I offer personalized and continuous support to mothers before, during, and after birth. I help them prepare for their birth, cope with their pain, communicate with their providers, and celebrate their achievements. I want every mother to feel empowered, respected, and joyful during their birth.

Doula Laci is an amazing doula for all birthing people regardless of birth plan! Many other doulas I’ve met have pushed an exclusively “natural” birth plan but that doesn’t work for all bodies or families. Laci is amazing, understanding of multiple birth experiences and needs, and a deeply empathetic individual. You couldn’t find a better doula for your birth.

I have always had a passion for working with children and families. I grew up on a small island in the heart of the Florida Keys. From an early age, I began babysitting and nannying. Once I graduated from high school, I decided to major in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Psychology. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Florida State University and returned to the Keys to teach elementary school. For 10 years, I worked with many families and children of different ages and abilities, including those with special needs. During this time, I also began practicing yoga and as cliché as it may sound, yoga changed my life. It has provided me with an outlet to focus the mind, control the breath, and explore and appreciate the body. I decided that I wanted to share the powerful and lasting benefits of this practice with others. I have studied hatha, vinyasa, yoga philosophy, meditation, standup paddleboard yoga, and pregnancy + postnatal yoga. It was during my pregnancy + postnatal yoga training that I became interested in becoming a doula. I felt compelled to find a way to provide much needed support for individuals and families before, during, and after birth. I decided then, to pursue a new life and career path. I trained through DONA International to become a certified birth and postpartum doula. I have taken various additional trainings such as Body Ready Method®, Spinning Babies® workshops, rebozo techniques, LGBTQ+ family equality, Spinning Babies® certified parent education, basics of breastfeeding, and infant first aid and CPR. I am committed to using my experience, knowledge, and ability to hold space to provide unbiased informational, emotional, and physical support that empowers you to make the right choices for yourself and your family.

We chose Shaina based on her previous reviews and were especially drawn to those that mentioned her expertise with difficult births and her ability to slow things down and success avoiding C sections with healthy births. We delivered our IVF pregnancy on April 2026 and remain so grateful Shaina was part of our journey and birthing team. She was available for all questions both before and during the birth. She was the expert in our corner for all medical decisions going into our 39 week induction and made us feel 100% confident in the decisions we were making. During the birth, I could not be more grateful for the focus and support Shaina provided. Once things got going, she immediately told us she was the only voice we needed to focus on and she would translate and pass along everything the medical team was saying or asking. She kept my wife so focused and calm the medical team had to come running because labor moved along so much faster and efficiently than any on the team expected. I strongly believe Shaina made pushing and active labor so manageable our healthy baby came many hours earlier than all predictions. She is the calming voice and empathetic expert you need in the room and I would highly recommend Shaina to anyone on a pregnancy journey.

I got a labor prep massage from Alex at the end of my 38 weeks pregnant. I was feeling a lot of anxiety about the approaching due date. Since getting the massage 4 days ago, my anxiety has gone way down and I feel my body and baby relaxing and getting ready to birth. Alex was such a calming and sweet presence to have in my home and support my mind and body. She utilized pressure points and spinning babies techniques in addition to massage to not only help me relieve tension but also prepare my body better for birth. I highly recommend her services.

Luna is everything you could possibly want in a doula. She's incredibly knowledgeable in her field, has invaluable firsthand experience with multiple natural deliveries and can speak to her own personal experience with home birth. She gives great insight and advice and makes you feel very comfortable and supported. In speaking with Luna, you always feel heard, respected and emotionally validated, which is so important for any new mom, especially with how vulnerable we are in pregnancy and childbirth. She's also truly dedicated to her clients and always willing to answer questions and provide reassurance. Highly recommend.

— Kristiana R., review of Luna Bruno August 2026

Talk about the sweetest women you’ve EVER met! I adore Alex and Noa and feel so comfortable and understood by each of them when I get to talk to them. They have such a passion for what they do and it’s immediately evident. I just had a prenatal massage with Alex and it was everything I’ve been dreaming of and more during my second pregnancy. Especially since I got to be at home during it, are we kidding!? I’m 38 weeks and trying to naturally VBAC and have been feeling like baby is not engaged correctly. During my massage we incorporated spinning babies and I instantly felt a difference in baby’s positioning and have been feeling baby drop lower ever since. I wish I could have this massage daily, the relaxation was unreal and the results were everything I needed!
