Previously, I entered a software engineering career through working to design technologies for individuals with traumatic brain injuries in hospital settings, but after hearing about several friends and family members' birth and doula experiences, I decided I wanted a more caretaking and embodied role in creating equitable change and creating peaceful, embodied, and inclusive experiences for families.
