Doula pricing depends on the type of support: birth doulas usually charge a flat package fee for labor support, while postpartum doulas typically charge by the hour for daytime or overnight care at home.

It's important to note that doula fees can vary significantly within the Sanford area, with some highly experienced or specialized doulas charging higher rates. Additionally, some doulas offer package deals that may include prenatal visits, continuous labor support, and postpartum support, which can affect the overall cost.

When considering hiring a doula in Sanford, it's advisable to research and interview several doulas to find one who aligns with your preferences, needs, and budget. During consultations, you can discuss their specific services and pricing structure to ensure you have a clear understanding of what is included and the associated costs. Hello! I am a birth and postpartum doula in Volusia County and servicing within a 50 mile radius. I got started in the birth community after the birth of my daughter. I had a wonderful experience, in part due to the wonderful midwives who attended me throughout my pregnancy and labor, as well as the postpartum doula who came to my home at 2 in the morning to help me with her when I was losing my sanity. These experiences made me want to give to other women, and I found my way into doula work. It has been the most rewarding work I have ever done, and I love doing it. Outside of my work, I spend time with my daughter and my partner, I enjoy reading and playing video games, and I have two cats and a leopard gecko. I have a Facebook page for my business where I regularly post at https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100069593215044&mibextid=ZbWKwL

I can't begin to say enough good things about Cari. From the moment we first began messaging, to our first meeting, all the way up to the amazing unmedicated birth of our second daughter. We are not strangers to an unmedicated birth, as that is what we did with our first daughter, but Cari helped make the experience with our second not only even better but much calmer and secure all around. Cari was informative in not just the potential outcomes of the birth we WANTED, but she made sure to take the time to cover what-if scenarios. What we were looking for in a Doula was someone who was willing to take the time to get to know us well before baby #2 was born, but also someone with a kind vibe/aura (IYKYK), who could advise us on some additional labor coping movements and massage/pressure points, and she did all of the above plus more. If we have another baby, she will undoubtedly be our Doula again. I genuinely recommend her on all levels. Even after our daughter was born, she stayed with us in the birth center for hours until I felt well and recovered enough for her to leave us (and this was past 1 am). She captured some absolutely precious, beautiful, and raw photos of our birth, on top of doing a newborn photoshoot for us. Themed and set where we wanted, yet again surpassing all expectations. She includes postpartum support as well, and she is so sweet when she came for her postpartum visit, she brought a batch of the most AMAZING lactation cookies ever (and might I say they sure worked for me!!). Cari will undoubtedly take the time to listen and form a plan that you want while informing you of all possibilities and taking care of you like a member of her own family, honestly. And who doesn't love a fellow nerd? Look no further. She IS the doula for you. THIS is the sign you're looking for.

I could not possibly recommend In Joy Birth any more. Our experience with them was the first experience we had working with doulas and we had both a birth doula and postpartum doulas (2 alternating). I think this review is supposed to be more focused on postpartum so I’ll focus there, however I will share that we also had a birth doula, who helped make my wife’s home birth of our son incredibly beautiful. We first started working with In Joy postpartum when our son was 11 days old. My wife was having a really hard time with the limited sleep we were experiencing so we needed some temporary help. Chrystal showed up in our home just hours after we made the call! She helped us get our first (actually) restful night of sleep that night. Over time we also started working with another doula, Andie, who was also amazingly supportive of my wife and our son. We usually did 3 nights per week and it made all of the difference in our physical and mental health. All in, we stayed with In Joy for a little over 4 months and wouldn’t have changed a thing. We’ll absolutely hire them again when/if we have our second child. They made an incredibly positive impact on our lives and we are so thankful for them.

Adisela is the most supportive and soothing doulas you can find in the Orlando area. She truly loves what she does and you can feel her care and compassion as soon as you meet her. I met her through Central Florida Birth Network. She is knowledgeable, professional, passionate about caring for families and babies, and the most warm and loving people you can ever meet. I absolutely recommend her postpartum doula services. You will feel relaxed, uplifted, loved, and empowered. Having Adisela in your home makes all the difference. Postpartum is a time for moms to heal, to rest, and focus on caring for themselves and their baby. Adisela comes in and makes your home an oasis of calm, tends to your needs, nurturers you with homemade warm soothing soups, and helps you heal. She is a lifesaver.
