The cost of a night nanny in Santa Rosa, CA can be influenced by several factors:

  • Experience and Qualifications

Nannies with extensive experience, certifications (e.g., newborn care specialist), or specific training often charge higher rates.

  • Number of Babies

Caring for twins or multiples typically costs more than caring for a single baby due to the increased workload.

  • Hours and Duration

Rates may vary depending on the number of hours per night, the total number of nights required, and whether the arrangement is short-term or long-term.

  • Duties and Responsibilities

Additional responsibilities, such as bottle preparation, light housekeeping, or sleep training, can increase the cost.

  • Time of Year

Demand during peak times, like the holiday season, may drive prices higher.

  • Agency Fees

Hiring through an agency often includes placement fees or additional charges for their services, adding to the overall cost.

  • Overnight Rates vs. Hourly Rates

Some nannies charge a flat overnight rate, while others charge hourly, which can influence costs depending on the length of the shift.

When considering hiring a night nanny in Santa Rosa, CA, it's advisable to research and interview several night nannies to find one who aligns with your preferences, needs, and budget. During consultations, you can discuss their specific services and pricing structure to ensure you have a clear understanding of what is included and the associated costs. This process will help you find a night nanny who meets your needs and fits within your budget.

Lianne Grant

6 years of experience

Hi, I’m Lianne—some like to call me Li. I’m a 34-year-old woman deeply committed to supporting parents and individuals through big life transitions, especially the beautiful, complex journey into parenthood. I understand how vulnerable and transformative this time can be. My goal is to walk alongside you with care and steady support—nurturing not just your baby, but you, and your whole family, as you adjust and grow. In addition to my work with families, I run an organic skincare company that connects me to the natural world through ingredients like shea butter, calendula, castor oil, etc. I bring that same care into your postpartum experience—whether it’s preparing nourishing meals, offering soothing massages and herbal baths, steeping teas, or blending hydrating tonics. Everything I do is designed to support your body, mind, and nervous system. I’m certified in infant CPR and life coaching, and I'm very open to learning if there is something you wish for me to delve into during our journey together! I bring compassion, experience, and a calm presence to every family I work with. I’d love to connect and see if we’re a good fit.

Lianne has been helping me since my youngest was a few months old and I went back to work. She has been a godsend for us, essentially “being me” while I was home so I could focus on the baby, nursing, and soaking up that precious time. She prepared insanely delicious meals that were nurturing (even my 5 year old enjoyed them!) kept things tidy and helped me make all of my apts on time and without stress. Now that my baby is a little older she still offers to lend a helping hand and has forged a beautiful relationship with both my children. She really fit into the family seamlessly. She knows what needs to be done, helps intuitively without being asked, and is always thinking of how to support and nurture those in her care. She’s one in a million and I can’t speak more highly of her

Hello! My name is Ladjane Sampaio and I am a Certified Postpartum Doula and experienced Nanny based in the Bay Area. I am also a proud Brazilian mother of five, and it’s from this deep well of personal experience and love that I draw my strength and purpose as a caregiver. Supporting families through the delicate postpartum period is not just my profession—it’s my calling. I bring a calm, compassionate, and culturally sensitive presence to every home I serve, helping parents feel empowered, seen, and truly supported as they adjust to life with a new baby. I offer hands-on newborn care, breastfeeding support, postpartum recovery assistance, light housekeeping, and home organization to ensure a peaceful and well-supported transition into parenthood. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and I have excellent references that reflect my professionalism, reliability, and loving care. While English is not my first language, I communicate clearly and warmly—and most importantly, I know how to care for babies with confidence, love, and great attention to detail. Hi, I'm Kirstie — a certified birth and postpartum doula and peer lactation counselor serving expecting and new families in the San Francisco Bay Area. I received my training through the Indie Birth Doula Academy and the H.E.R.B.A.L Academy and I bring that foundation into every client relationship with compassion, intention, and care. Kirstie was so amazing in guiding me through my birth. She taught me about having a birth plan and having it written it out so that doctors would follow my wishes. A birth plan was something I hadn’t even thought of but Kirstie was instrumental in helping me think ahead and giving me the best chance of having a safe birth for me and baby. She was also great in my postpartum. She checked in often and helped me breastfeeding. Teaching me massage that help milk production and foods I can eat also to help my milk supply. She thinks about all your needs before you even realize you need it. She’s a warm, calming presence to have at your most vulnerable time. There’s no other person I would recommend when looking for help in your birth and postpartum journey. Kirstie is simply the best!
