My name is Sharon Nansamba, and I am deeply passionate about supporting families during the important early stages of parenthood. I believe every parent deserves compassionate, non-judgmental support as they adjust to caring for their newborn and finding their new rhythm at home. My approach centers around kindness, patience, and empowerment—helping parents gain confidence in their own abilities while ensuring both parent and baby feel cared for and secure. I see my role as a guide and partner—someone who listens, nurtures, and adapts to each family’s unique needs. I value open communication and respect for each family’s choices and traditions. My goal is to create a calm, reassuring environment where parents can rest, recover, and enjoy bonding with their little one, knowing they are supported every step of the way.

As a Certified Postpartum Doula, I provide compassionate, professional support to families as they transition into life with a new baby. My services include newborn care education, feeding support (breastfeeding, pumping, or bottle-feeding), emotional and physical support for the birthing parent, and light household assistance to create a calm and organized environment. I help parents build confidence in their caregiving skills while ensuring they have the rest and reassurance they need during this important time. I also bring additional training in Lactation Support for Birth Workers and Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC), allowing me to deliver safe, evidence-based care in every setting. Whether providing day or overnight support, my goal is to nurture both parent and baby, promote healing, and make the postpartum experience as positive and empowering as possible.
