Hi everyone, my name is Nancy and I am a Postpartum Doula, New Parent Educator, and Perinatal Mental Health Specialist. We have a team of providers at Anamav Postnatal Care who offer various services across the Greater Toronto Area (including Peel, York, Durham and Simcoe) as well as virtually. Our team includes postpartum doulas, lactation consultants, and sleep consultants and we also have strong referral networks with other types of providers. I started Anamav due to my own mental health challenges after having my first child, and now it is my absolute honour to support so many families during this significant time in their lives. Whether you want it to be empowering, transformational, peaceful, healing or you just want to get through it in one piece then working with a doula like me will make all the difference. I'm with you from start to finish, which means from whenever you sign until the end of the fourth trimester, to help any and every way I can. And as a big bonus I also do infant bodywork to help with all of those fun newborn challenges you keep hearing about, like feeding issues or colic. Kamusta! Ako si Anna Balagtas (she/her) and I'm a Queer + Pinay femme radical birthworker, educator, facilitator, energy worker, and pleasure advocate. I'm the founder of Pocket Doula and I support emerging birthworkers in radicalizing their practice through heart-centered mentorships, facilitations, and community organizing. My practice is housed under the decolonization of birthwork and transformative queer care. My deepest joys come from witnessing our communities thrive through community care, mutual aid, and abolition work.

And working at Toronto western hospital for over 20 yrs and a patient care assistant so I’ve worked with so many different people. I do have experience working with kids being that I’ve cared for my kids as a single mum at the same time I was working as full time at my work place . So I do know the challenges that new mums go through taking care of new babies plus themselves.
