Hello, my name is Pei. After many cherished years as a stay-at-home mom, I am looking forward to returning to the workforce and doing what I know best: taking care of infants. My journey as a mother has deepened my understanding of the unique needs of newborns and their families and I am excited to share my knowledge and experience with others. I have raised three children of my own. My experience in caring for my own children has equipped me with practical skills in infant care, breastfeeding support, and emotional nurturing. I believe that every baby deserves a gentle start in life, and every family deserves compassionate support during those early years. I also offer postpartum services by helping families adjust to life with their new arrival. My goal is to ensure that every family feels supported, informed, and confident as they welcome their little ones. In my free time, you can find me watching the Tennis Channel, listening to my playlist on blast while doing housework, singing, and hopefully playing pickleball soon! And of course spending time with my family. I would be honored to be part of such an intimate time in your life. My heartfelt mission is to lovingly care for your baby, ensuring they feel safe, cherished, nurtured, and supported in every moment. Please note that my care services are exclusively focused on newborns up to 6 months, ensuring specialized attention and support for this stage. I am a certified postpartum and infant care doula dedicated to providing calm, compassionate, and non-judgmental care during the early postpartum period. I strive to be a steadying presence amidst the many changes that come with welcoming a new baby. I firmly believe that postpartum care should encompass the whole family, ensuring each member feels nurtured and heard every step of the way. I provide experienced and research-backed support to families in the first weeks with their little ones. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions. I would love to become part of your support system!

We hired Esme as a postpartum doula to help us get some sleep during the first months with our newborn. As first-time parents, everything felt overwhelming. We were also a bit worried about having someone new in the house at night, but Esme made it feel easy from day one—we felt comfortable with her right away. Esme was honestly a lifesaver for us in those early months. We feel very lucky to have had her support. Our baby would often wake up crying at night and was hard to soothe, but Esme handled those moments with such calmness and confidence. She clearly knows how to work with newborns, and that’s not easy to find. Our daughter felt comfortable with her, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. What stood out the most was how calm she stayed, even during more intense moments. That calm presence really helped our baby settle much faster. We would absolutely recommend Esme to any new parents—she makes a huge difference, both for the baby and for your own sanity and sleep.

I connect deeply with my clients and care for them as if they are my own family.

Kayla was both my birth and postpartum doula and I had an incredible experience with her for both. Before birth she did classes with my husband and I so that we would feel more prepared on things like the labor process and infant care. During these she was incredibly knowledgeable. She had lots of information prepared and also answered any and all questions we had. She clearly put a lot of thought into what information was important to go over and I left feeling much more knowledgeable than before. During my labor experience she was supportive, caring, and knowledgeable every step of the way. I had a very long labor that ended in an unplanned c section and I feel like without her the experience would've felt impossible. She not only supported me but also supported my husband during this experience and he feels strongly that she made our experience so much better by being there. She also was my postpartum doula. I completely trusted her with care of my newborn and she did an amazing job. I tend to be an anxious person but she is someone i feel 100% comfortable around. My daughter loves her and she took great care of her. She also was very knowledgeable and supportive during this time and had many tips that made the postpartum period much easier. I'll always be grateful for her and I would recommend her to anyone.

Hi, I’m Sage. I’m a doula and the founder of Mommy Meltdown Perinatal Services. I started this work because I noticed the lack of a village when I could have used one the most. My lived experience is why I’m so committed to making sure no one else has to navigate the messy, beautiful reality of parenthood alone. I don’t understand this work just from a book, I’ve been there too. I am a DONA International trained birth doula, hold a COC in group peer support, and am trained in perinatal mental health and anxiety disorders from a non-clinical perspective. I’m here to support your body and your mind through labor and the weeks that follow. When it comes to birth, I’m a calm, steady advocate in your corner. I won't tell you how to birth; I'll be there to make sure you have the evidence-based information you need to make your own choices with confidence and the support you need to see them through. If you think we might be a good fit, I’d love to connect. Let's have a quick chat to get to know each other and talk about how I can best support your unique journey!

Labor, Postpartum, lactation and Infant Care Specialist (ProDoula) Growing up, I was empowered having been around so many strong, independent women and it led me toward a path of wanting to carry that into my career. I believe that pregnancy and birth and postpartum are monumental life experiences that no one should have to do alone. Every person so matter their background or beliefs deserves support and respect as they venture through this major life transition. My personal philosophy of what doula embodies is a person who stands beside the new parent(s) to help with guidance, validation, and empowerment. For the last decade of my life I have been devoted to this practice, caring for and assisting with dozens of families to thrive in not only their family life but into their communities. And I hope to continue this practice for a long time.

Recent review

Lexie was our doula for the birth of our babygirl and we couldn’t have asked for a better one! From our very first phone call we were impressed! Lexie is extremely knowledgeable about the birth world. We appreciated how she took the time to speak to us on the phone to learn about our goals and even walk us through a breathing exercise. We booked her when I was 38 weeks pregnant so there was some urgency with setting up our prenatal visit and wanting to make sure everything would work out for whenever we went into labor. From the beginning of finding her, Lexie was prompt in communicating with us through text and calls and that was very important to us. Her passion and knowledge came through so clearly during our prenatal visit and she gave us so much advice on birth, breastfeeding, sleep safety, and postpartum. Lexie was encouraging of our goal to do an unmedicated birth but when plans changed she wasn’t pushy, she was supportive. There was a moment where we had to make some tough decisions and Lexie made sure we had all the information for everything that was being thrown at us during labor and we got to the hospital! We’ve learned so much from her and I personally as a mom have felt supported and seen even during postpartum. She has a passion for supporting new moms and has been sweet enough to check in often since giving birth two months ago. I’ve appreciated having someone to ask questions to, especially since my husband and I don’t have family support here in Washington since moving here a few years ago. Overall, I highly recommend Lexie! I’m extremely grateful that our paths crossed and she helped welcome our babygirl !!

Sage was a dream come true for us. I was so deeply appreciative of the updates, the communication, the honesty, the positivity, and the trust that Sage was able to provide for us while caring for our baby while we were on a work trip. My two older children were also so impressed by Sage and really enjoyed all of their interactions. We recommend Sage wholeheartedly and with absolute confidence. I'm thrilled to share about the amazing help we received from Kelly Hickman as our sibling support doula. Kelly's commitment and knowledge were truly outstanding. She managed to take care of our older child while also providing invaluable assistance to our birth doula during my wife's home birth. Kelly offered us two home visits prior to the birth of our daughter to answer all of our questions and to spend quality one on one time with our 3 year old son, engaging with him in his favorite activities. She took pictures with him so we could look at them together as a family and talk with him about how his friend Kelly was going to come back and play with him soon when mommy was having his baby sister. She really took the time to bond and form a genuine connection with him, and because of that, he very much looked forward to his time with her when she finally returned for the birth. Her sincere care, attentiveness, and ability to handle multiple tasks made a significant impact during this important time for our family. Kelly's presence provided comfort and reassurance, and her dedication to the well-being of both my children was truly extraordinary. I'm incredibly thankful for her exceptional support and wholeheartedly recommend her services to anyone in need of a compassionate and skilled doula.

My support is queer competent, weight inclusive and intersectional, and it is always my priority to support people getting the care that helps them feel safe and seen, essential to the health and wellness of both baby and family. I know first hand how beautiful, challenging and exhausting childbirth and parenting is, and I come with a wealth of personal and professional experience to share with you.

Recent review

Melanie Guymon is a superb CFSD. She spent nights with our little bub for 2+months, she gave us a reprieve and support during the difficult newborn days hard. We had a colicliky baby and Melanie not only helped us advocate to our doctors that our baby might have reflux, but she also gave us superb tips on how to help ease her discomfort at night and during the day. During her time with us Melabie also helped us prepare our baby to move out of the swaddle, and due to her tips, our baby seamlessly transitioned from her Snoo + bassinet and into her crib and a sleep sack. She continued to support us with sleep coaching as well, helping us with our babies sleep schedule, which has allowed our baby to sleep better than all of our other baby friends in a similar age range. We had Melanie start with us around the 6 week mark due to our postpartum schedule, and she was with us until just under 4 months. We could not have done this journey without her.

We feel so lucky to have had Danielle with us three nights a week for the first six weeks after bringing our son home. As a first time mom, those early newborn days were such an adjustment, and Danielle quickly became a source of comfort and support for me too- not just someone we trusted to care for our baby. From the beginning, we felt safe and comfortable with her. She is incredibly caring, calm, and attentive, and I genuinely looked forward to the nights she was coming because I knew our son was in such good hands and I could actually rest. Especially in those first few weeks when everything felt so new, having her reassuring presence meant so much to us. Danielle was also wonderful about respecting our preferences and helping us figure out what worked best for our family without ever making us feel like there was one “right” way to do things. She was extremely communicative- always responsive, but also proactive about checking in, sharing updates, and making sure we were on the same page. We were genuinely sad when our time with Danielle came to an end. She became such a trusted and comforting presence during a really special and vulnerable time in our lives, and we’re so grateful she was part of those early weeks with our son. I would recommend her without hesitation to any family looking for a night doula.
