Ever since I was little I wanted to help others. I dreamed of being a nurse while helping my grandpa after countless surgeries by putting bandaid’s on him. I served in mission trips at orphanages and food banks. And then as I got older and pursued my nursing dream, I found the NICU. I immediately fell in love and knew where I belonged. Since becoming a NICU nurse, I have become a military spouse and have had 5 children of my own. My love for babies has deepened to where I am wanting to help outside the hospital walls. I am hoping to help families with the transition home - especially during the nighttime hours when it’s most difficult for some.

I started caring for kiddos when I was just a kiddo myself honestly. My mother would work alot so I proved to her that I was responsible and could help take care of my baby sister! I was 11 years old when my sister was born, I helped my mama with feeding the baby,soothing,putting down for naps,playing, and milestones. As I grew into a teenager my older sister started having her babies back to back to back and she either lived with my mother and us siblings or she lived right above us in the same apartment building. I am a certified birth and postpartum doula, I have attended breastfeeding and postpartum care classes, with training in proper latching and checking for tongue ties. I have experience in sleep training, live in childcare, overnight care, bottle feeding (with both formula and breastmilk,) and introducing solid foods. I have helped with twins, triplets and have watched over children from the age of a few days to teens. I was a career nanny for over 10 years working for many profession families (including NFL players!) before having my own children (they are 4 and 2 now!).
