About me

Hi!! I’m Thakya S. Williams and I am a practicing Birth/Labor Doula located in Cincinnati, Ohio. I plan to bring reproductive justice to marginalized communities and ensure the comfortability of my clients through the perinatal process. Studying Gender & Diversity Studies at Xavier University, I am passionate about advocating for the respect of the intersectional identities of my clients in the labor and delivery room. I believe birth can be calm and peaceful if we set the right atmosphere and curate an environment with as little stress as possible. My practice tries to create a judgment-free zone for all parents seeking informational and emotional support. In my free time, I enjoy hiking with friends, volunteering, writing music/poems, and watching musicals/scary movies. I’d love to see if I can be the doula fit for your family!

This package includes the full experience of Birth and Labor Doula support. What you can expect from me (included, but not limited to): - prenatal meetings to check in on mom and baby - birth planning - labor support (all stages of labor, from the first contraction until the baby arrives) - postpartum meetings to check in on mom and baby - spousal relief (both parents deserve to feel their best when they meet their baby!) - knowledgable advocacy in labor and delivery room

This package includes the entire birth doula experience at a fraction of the price! This price is for mothers who may be experiencing financial hardship but still deserve the access to birthing resources. Moms who are experiencing financial hardship are more likely to have stressful pregnancies— all the more reason for a birth doula. Let me help you alleviate some of the stress at a reduced price. * Also offered to moms who may be finding me late in their pregnancy (32< weeks) * Please consult with me about discount availability
