I was trained through DONA International and am actively working towards birth and postpartum certification. I was certified as a lactation counselor by the ALPP after completing the Center for Breastfeeding course and passing the exam. My own experience becoming a mother ignited this calling in me, and it grew even stronger during my second pregnancy. This season can be transformative, overwhelming and beautiful all at once, and you do not have to go through it alone. When I am not supporting families, you can find me spending time with my amazing husband, children, family and friends, exercising, reading, meal prepping, hanging out with our chickens or gardening. I also happen to love spiders and have a new hobby that includes two jumping spiders and a tarantula - weird, maybe, but I love them and have always had a soft spot for exotic pets (and nature in general). I also have a Bachelors Degree in Interior Design from RIT, and spent the previous ~12 years working in the field until the birth of my second baby. I love seeing women empowered through this incredible experience and I would be honored to be a part of your team. I serve the Rochester, NY area hospitals and provide postpartum support to those within 25 minutes from my home in Hilton, NY. I truly look forward to working with you!
