We hired Jeremy Anne to help care for our daughter back when she was 9 months. She was with us for about 5 months. She helped with feeding, play, naps, walking development, baby sign, minor housekeeping items and offered advice with caring for a baby. She has a wonderful holistic approach with her support. She cares about ALL family members - humans and pets alike! We loved that she wasn’t a “transactional” kind of person, she really took the time to get to know us, ask good questions and offer personal care support when needed. She also went out of her way for many things. I will always remember how she helped develop healthy boundaries with our dog as we were adjusting to our daughter’s needs. The boundaries helped build a healthy relationship with our baby and fur baby! Our daughter enjoyed being around Jeremy and she misses her I think sometimes. Jeremy was very helpful with helping our baby walk! We keep in touch and recently shared how our little one is walking all over the place now! I wish we could have had more time with Jeremy. She is a blessing, she is so peaceful and calm.

Kayla Cook

My role as a newborn care specialist and postpartum doula is to support parents and provide nurturing, responsive care to infants in their first 4 months of life (age adjusted.) I offer evidence-based care and resources, and help set realistic expectations for those early days with a newborn (or multiple babies.) It’s an honor to help you become more confident in yourself, help you get the rest you need, and support your goals for your family’s life. Whether your priority is setting routines, stretching sleep durations, maximizing your milk supply, or learning the basics of baby care - I’m here to respectfully partner with you along the way. In time, you’ll believe that you know your baby best and you’re what they need the most. Services offered include daytime or overnight newborn care, postpartum support, lactation education, parent instruction on infant safety, developmental milestones, hygiene, sleep shaping, feeding, infant routines, nursery set-up, and recognizing the signs of postpartum mood and anxiety disorders (this is strictly educational.) While I encourage self monitoring and action planning for postpartum mood disorders as early as possible, I do not diagnose or treat any conditions. I am not a licensed medical professional. On a case-by-case basis, I offer sleep coaching (through video, phone call, or in-person consultations), and sleep training (in-person support for no more than 4 nights/days only if an infant is at least 5 months old, and at least 8 hours per night.) Sleep conditioning (in which I support your family in setting a healthy sleep foundation and form sustainable routines) is a complimentary part of my NCS services. In many cases, more rigorous “sleep training” is not necessarily needed. I’m a Safe Sleep Ambassador trained through Cribs for Kids. Please be advised that I strictly adhere to the American Academy of Pediatrics Safe Sleep Recommendations while babies are in my care: this includes placing baby to sleep alone, on their back - on a firm, flat sleep surface that is free of objects - in a crib/pack n’ play/bassinet without bumpers, blankets, pacifier clips, or toys. I support all types of families that follow various traditions, practices, and philosophies without judgement. As a professional and non-family member, it’s especially important I model and adhere to AAP recommendations and evidence-based practices during the time I work.

Kayla is an amazing doula who helped with our newborn twins girls for 5 months. She came 3 nights a week and by the end of the contract the babies were sleeping through the night!! The whole experience was so much better than I even imagined. I was so terrified of sleepless nights with twins while also taking care of our 3 year old during the day. Kayla supported us through all of it, and I cannot be more thankful.

Hey, My name is Divya. I am a pediatric Sleeo consultant and mom of two toddlers. I know the importance of sleep in a family and work towards spreading my knowledge across families. When I talk to a struggling parent, I know where they are coming from. If you are struggling with your little one’s sleep struggles, please reach out to me and we should talk

Recent review

I am very happy with the help I got from Divya. My baby was 6 months old with strong sleep associations of nursing and being held. This is my second child and my first child was an even more difficult sleeper. I have read almost everything I could about sleep training - every article I could google, some sleep plans that other mom friends have tried, etc. When I finally decided to use a sleep consultant, I knew I wanted someone who can also do in-home help. I wanted to be able to have someone physically with me so when our usual patterns emerged, I could ask questions and get help in real time. That is how I found Divya on Bornbir. Divya has been a huge help in keeping me consistent with a plan and giving me confidence to feel comfortable with what I'm doing. My baby is the type that anything short of being picked up results in more intense crying so it's all or nothing with him. I would constantly feel guilty and second guess if I was doing the training correctly. Divya came up with a plan and has been very supportive of keeping me on that plan. On our first night, Divya was there with me to talk me through his crying patterns and what they mean. Just having her there to listen to my concerns and talk with me was huge. In the following days, she was very responsive to my many questions when slight deviations from the plan arose. Having her as my one source really helped eliminate the confusion and frustrations that come with trying to google the solutions myself and getting multiple and sometimes conflicting answers. My baby's sleep patterns have definitely improved and while there are minor setbacks (due to vacations and teething), thanks to Divya, I feel way more prepared emotionally to handle it and that is money well spent.

As a postpartum doula, Amy offers physical support (cooking, light housekeeping, babycare, preparing sitz baths, etc.); informational support (feeding, babycare skills, context and perspective, information about products and local resources); and emotional support/encouragement for anyone in the family (including non-medical assessment of adults’ postpartum moods and experience, and care for older siblings). Amy views herself as a trusted partner who is dedicated to helping new parents discover the needs of their individual children and families, while helping to smooth the edges of everyday life with a newborn so you can enjoy this special time.

Recent review

Amy is absolutely amazing! We had her for 2 weeks of last-minute night support when nights were getting really tough for us in the newborn days, and wish we could have had her for longer. Our twins were going through an uncomfortable gassy phase and she made sure they were soothed throughout the nights. Amy is super knowledgeable and willing to answer questions and share her expertise. She would always take the time to debrief at the end of each night, even if that meant staying a little longer to make sure all our questions were answered. She also brought books and bottles/wraps/shusher for us to try. We're really grateful for her support and would highly recommend her to any family in need of postpartum support!

We were incredibly fortunate to have Liv care for our daughter from 2 to 3.5 months old. She was consistently kind, attentive, and genuinely caring, treating our baby with so much patience, gentleness, and love. Our daughter has moderate laryngomalacia, which required extra attention and care, and Liv handled it with remarkable compassion and dedication. When our daughter was sick or uncomfortable, Liv would stay up with her, holding her upright for extended periods to help her breathe and rest more comfortably. She always put our baby’s well-being first and never hesitated to go above and beyond to ensure she was cared for. As new parents, it gave us tremendous peace of mind knowing our daughter was in such capable and loving hands overnight. Liv was reliable, nurturing, and attentive to our daughter’s needs, and we always felt confident that she was safe, comforted, and cared for. Beyond her excellent care of our baby, Liv was also supportive and reassuring to us as parents during those early months. Her calm presence, experience, and genuine affection for our daughter made a meaningful difference for our family. We are deeply grateful for everything Liv did for our family and would wholeheartedly recommend her to any family looking for a compassionate, trustworthy, and exceptional night doula.

My name is Rebecca Garcia and I am thrilled you are seeking out a Doula for your journey. I have a strong energetic pull towards this life changing work, and I am so honored to be pursuing my passion as a birth worker. I love all things birth and feel that my strongest assets are listening, empathy, providing resources and cooking homemade meals for others. I tell all my clients, if there is a birth I am there. With all the stigma and negative depictions in the media surrounding birth, I want to ensure that my clients feel secure in all their decisions without any judgments. This Is Your Body, Your Birth & Only You Get To Make The Decisions That Works Best For You & Your Baby. I have two spirited little ones of my own; ages 4 and 6. I had doulas for both births and feel as though they made my birthing journey undeniably memorable. They feed me, hit pressure points during labor, loved me, educated me and most importantly encouraged me to find my voice and strength. These are the experiences I wish to provide to my future clients. I have experience in homebirths, birth centers & hospital settings. I understand that ones birthing journey is a sacred space, and wish to only support and offer any resources that may help aid in this time. If you are interested or just want to connect and talk anything birth, postpartum or baby please feel free to reach out. I am located in San Francisco and I am extending my services throughout the surrounding Bay Area. Virtual Options Also Provided

My family was extremely fortunate to have Rebecca as an overnight Doula for our infant daughter in her first month. Rebecca brings an extremely calming energy and comes with so much wisdom and compassion. There was never a doubt that our daughter was in experienced and kind hands. She was also able to bring a lot of knowledge that helped us better understand our daughter and gain confidence in these early days as first time parents. I also really appreciated how she was constantly reminding us to give ourselves grace. Rebecca is an excellent partner and any parents would be lucky to have to have her provide care.

I have provided care for infants and their families for over a decade. I have a background in Early Childhood Care & Education, advanced newborn care training, and expertise in feeding, sleep shaping, parent education, nursery and baby registry set-up. Bringing new life into the world is an incredibly special and exciting time for families, but it is also a vulnerable time. My practice is judgement-free. My primary goal is to provide your family with the most support and knowledge possible to set you up for parenting success. When I am not caring for babies or running my business, I enjoy going to the park with my son, walking my dog Nemo, tending to my garden or reading a good book.

Recent review

Kaila is simply amazing. She was with our family for the first ~15 weeks after our daughter was born (initially for 10 weeks but we loved her so much we extended). As first time parents we were nervous and a little crazed when our little one was born early at 38 weeks - from the moment she entered our home Kaila brought a calming warm energy. Not only was she incredibly sweet with our daughter, she was kind and supportive of us. We had great peace of mind knowing our little one was well cared for at night (and we got much needed rest!). Additionally in her capacity as a certified lactation consultant she gave advice and support, helping us monitor baby’s weight and advising on pumping / increasing supply when we struggled with breastfeeding. Kaila was sweet with our pups as well - she truly became a part of our family. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to help us through our first few months adapting as new parents. We’re more than happy to recommend her to any family looking for a reliable, kind and knowledgeable caretaker!

I’m a certified Postpartum Doula, Certified Postpartum Nutritional Professional, Sleep Consultant and Lactation supporter. I’ve been working with families in the Bay Area for over 37 years and I absolutely love being part of this new phase of bringing a brand new baby home, weather this baby is your biological or adopted.

We are incredibly grateful to have had Rosangela as our doula during our baby’s first month of life. From day one, she was punctual, reliable, and—most importantly—exceptionally caring with our newborn. Rosangela supported us for four weeks and was flexible with her schedule, even accommodating our request for a later start. When her assignment with us was coming to an end, she went above and beyond by helping us find a second doula to ensure continuity of care as well as training that doula to ensure no disruption. Even after rolling off, she has continued to check in with us, offering guidance and thoughtful support, which has meant so much during the postpartum period. During her time with us, Rosangela supported night feedings by gently waking both mom and baby, assisted with latching, burped the baby, and handled diaper changes throughout feeds. She supported our baby’s first bath, helped with baby laundry, and took care of all breast pump setup and cleanup—assembling parts, washing them, and making sure everything was ready for the next pumping session. These details made an enormous difference during those early, exhausting weeks. She consistently offered helpful advice and reassurance, always in a respectful way that made us feel supported rather than directed. Rosangela brought a calm, nurturing presence into our home, and we truly felt that our baby was in loving, experienced and capable hands. We wholeheartedly recommend Rosangela to any family looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, and dependable doula. She was an invaluable part of our postpartum journey.
