🌿 ABOUT ME Hi, I’m [Your Name] — a mother of five grown children, a seasoned caregiver with 18+ years of professional childcare experience, and a doula dedicated to supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum journey. With over 30 years of hands-on parenting, I’ve nurtured my own children into responsible, hardworking young adults who value kindness, education, and community. Raising them has been the greatest joy and adventure of my life, and it’s what inspires me to support other families during their most meaningful transitions. Caring for babies and children has always come naturally to me. I’m trustworthy, patient, energetic, reliable, and fun — and I deeply understand children’s emotional and physical development. Whether I’m supporting a family with a newborn, guiding parents through the postpartum period, or helping older children feel safe and engaged, I bring structure, warmth, and calm to every home I enter. As a doula and childcare professional, I specialize in newborn care, postpartum support, infant development, and high-demand situations. I have extensive experience with twins, triplets, and long-term family care, and I proudly serve families across Sonoma, Napa, Marin, and San Francisco. I’m also extremely flexible and available for days, nights, weekends, events, and on-call needs — because real life doesn’t always follow a schedule. Experience & Specialties • 18+ years professional childcare • Newborn care + postpartum doula support • Infant specialist • Extensive twins + triplets experience • Long-term family support • Event care (business + personal) • Comfortable with all family backgrounds • Safe, calm, and confident in high-demand situations What I Offer • Gentle newborn + postpartum support • Feeding guidance and emotional reassurance • Engaging activities, crafts, and games for older children • Cooking and light household help (if desired) • Walks, parks, libraries, and local outings • A positive, proactive, and comforting presence • Flexible and reliable scheduling Education & Certifications • A.A. Early Childhood Education • A.A. Social & Behavioral Sciences • Background in Nutrition • French language studies • Currently pursuing neonate nursing • CPR/First Aid Certified • Lifeguard Certified A Little About Me I love travel, the arts, and lifelong learning. I’ve visited all 50 states and 10 countries (soon 11!), and my family has been deeply involved in both athletics and the performing arts — dance, figure skating, basketball, swimming, track, wrestling, and football. These experiences shaped my appreciation for discipline, creativity, and community. Supporting families is not just my work — it is truly my calling. I would be honored to walk alongside you during pregnancy, birth, and the tender postpartum weeks to help you feel supported, confident, and cared for every step of the way. I’d love to meet your family and see how I can help.

I’m Nubia, a mom of five (teens & young adults). I have 25years of experience in the birth, postpartum & newborn care field. This is my passion work. I have a tremendous amount of gratitude being able to do this heart-centered work professionally & full-time. I support mothers & families as a certified birth doula, postpartum doula, parent educator, certified breastfeeding counselor (CLC), an integrative nutrition health coach (IIN) and a student midwife. My journey started in the year 2000 in my hometown of Washington, DC. In 2015. Since then, I’ve supported a diverse clientele in New York City and now Cali. My philosophy: Mothers deserve to be respected, heard and nurtured doing this major transition in life to becoming a mom, whether it’s for the first time or the 8th time! I truly believe It takes a village to raise a family which is what led me to my purpose, heart-centered work of supporting mothers & families. I’m a strong advocate for mothers and families birthing in all settings including hospital, home & birth centers. I respect the many choices in mothering and parenting. It's an honor to walk the path of mothering with women as they navigate the many options we have today. I strongly believe in the woman's ability to grow, birth and nourish her baby with her natural, innate abilities while also respecting the need or preference of medical support along the way. It's all about the balance of holistic & medical. My support also includes follow up postpartum healing practices for mom, lactation and pumping support, newborn care and parent coaching. On my spare time I enjoy indulging in health & wellness therapies, spending time in nature, traveling, cooking, dancing, and enjoying quality time with my family. My name is Amber Bardini, and I am the proud owner of Blooming Families Doula Services, LLC - a full spectrum doula agency, serving our wonderful clients throughout the greater Sacramento area and beyond. As a wife, mom of three, and certified full spectrum doula, my mission is to ensure that every parent and parent-to-be feels empowered, nurtured, and fully supported as they navigate this beautiful transition. My journey into the world of doula work began with a passion to make a positive impact on the birth and postpartum experiences of new families. Becoming a parent was one of the most challenging transitions of my life, and I remember how lost and alone I often felt as a new mom. I knew there needed to be a profound change in how we treat new parents and parents-to-be. I am truly dedicated to supporting new families—so they never have to feel the way I did. I founded Blooming Families Doula Services to extend compassionate, professional support to families in every stage of their journey. My goal is to ensure that every family receives the dedicated care they need to thrive and to help them build a strong, supportive village around them. I believe that every birth and every journey is unique, and every person and new parent is different. What works for one person, may not work for another. We are here to support you according to your specific needs. I am committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and supportive space for everyone, especially within the LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities. Everyone is valued, respected, and embraced for who they are. Thank you for considering having us as part of your journey. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and support you every step of the way.

Bailey was my doula through Blooming Families! She was wonderful throughout my pregnancy and birth. I was happily surprised that her services were covered by my insurance. Bailey helped me know what to expect for birth and helped me made educated decisions in regard to my birth plan. She attended my birth (despite it begins 3.5 weeks early). Throughout my birth she helped advocate for my wishes and encouraged my husband in ways he could best support me! She also checked in with me postpartum. I am so grateful for her support and recommend her services, especially for first time moms!

Hi! I’m Tunisha (Nisha), a passionate certified birth/postpartum doula, mother of three amazing kids. My own experiences with pregnancy and birth taught me just how transformative this time is, and my philosophy is simple: every parent deserves to feel empowered, respected, and safe, no matter how their birth unfolds. Before becoming a professional doula, I was the go-to person for my friends and family, providing hands-on support, encouragement, and care during their pregnancies and early postpartum days. I believe in 'mothering the mother'—offering calm, non-judgmental, and practical support to help you navigate this incredible journey. I would be honored to hold space for you and help you welcome your baby with confidence.

Recent review

Tunisha became my doula when I was 7 months pregnant. Throughout my journey, we had zoom meetings and communicated daily. Tunisha always checked in on me and shared informative resources for my pregnancy. Fast forward to the actual day of giving birth. Tunisha came to the hospital with such positive energy and calmness. She guided me through every contraction by reminding me to focus on my breathing and by pressing on my hips and back (this got me through the pain). During the time of pushing, she spoke out with encouragement and I held on to her voice. She made me believe in my body and what my body was capable of doing. She was my advocate and my rock. Tunisha asked me if I wanted to labor and push in all the different types of positions; I did and I finally found a comfortable position. I gave birth unmedicated and this was an amazing experience. I always felt safe and secure with Tunisha by my side. I am forever grateful for the support of Tunisha.

Hello! I’m Naoko. I am a Japanese-trained midwife, birth and postpartum doula, lactation counselor, childbirth educator, and mother of four. Before moving to the United States, I worked as a midwife in Japan, supporting families throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. Since moving to the San Francisco Bay Area, I have continued supporting families as a doula with compassionate, evidence-based, and personalized care. My approach is centered on the person giving birth. I believe every birthing person deserves to feel heard, respected, informed, and supported in making decisions that are right for them and their family. I draw on both my medical knowledge and my personal experience raising four children to provide practical, compassionate, and individualized support. I welcome families of all backgrounds, races, cultures, gender identities, and sexual orientations, including LGBTQ+ families. I support a wide range of birth preferences and experiences, including unmedicated birth, epidural birth, induction, VBAC, and cesarean birth. I also offer childbirth education, breastfeeding and lactation guidance, prenatal yoga, and bilingual support in English and Japanese. My goal is to help each family feel confident, supported, and empowered throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum journey.

I am so glad I had Naoko by my side during my delivery. She is so warm, kind, and easy to talk to. My labor was long and challenging, but she supported me through every step of the way. I honestly don’t know if I could have gotten through it without her help. She gave me great advice on when to do certain things, like taking a bath or asking for medication, which was incredibly helpful. I felt so much more comfortable and reassured knowing she was there. Her postpartum support was also amazing! She cooked for me ( she is a really good cook!), and was so helpful with breastfeeding as well. Having her support during those early days made such a big difference.

As a Registered Nurse, Certified Sleep Consultant and Certified Postpartum Doula with more than 23 years of full -time night experience, my goal is creating confident parents. Caring for more than 250 newborns has given me a wealth of experience in transitional care of babies into family life. This is accomplished by establishing successful feed/sleep routines, teaching calming techniques and answering the myriad questions that would be in a manual if babies came with one. This enables everyone to get much needed rest much sooner than is typically experienced in this scenario. As a Certified Sleep Consultant, also known as "The Sleep Angel" I also assist families who have not had the benefit of my guidance from the beginning of life with their baby. Tackling issues of sleep disturbance/interruption in older infants/toddlers with gentle, supportive techniques results in peace in the home environment that only sleep can provide. I look forward to meeting and working with you and your little one!

We feel incredibly fortunate to have worked with Kathy. She has been our sleep coach for both of our children, and her experience, wisdom, and calm presence made all the difference. She truly is a baby whisperer. What we appreciated most was how she met us exactly where we were as parents. She never offered a one-size-fits-all approach—instead, she listened, understood our family's needs, and provided thoughtful, practical guidance with a lot patience and kindness. She's incredibly gracious, insightful, and genuinely cares about the families she works with. We always felt supported, encouraged, and confident knowing she was in our corner. We're so grateful for everything she did for our family and recommend to parents looking for compassionate, expert sleep support.

Hi, my name is Katelyn, and I’m a certified Full-Spectrum doula. I have experience supporting families through VBAC, high-risk pregnancies, and IVF journeys. I believe that every birth story is unique, and my role is to provide steady, compassionate support—emotionally, physically, and informationally—through each step of the process. My background includes working closely with clients navigating complex or medically supported births, and I’m deeply committed to creating a calm, empowering space where families feel safe, heard, and in control of their choices. Whether you’re preparing for a vaginal birth after cesarean, managing a high-risk pregnancy, welcoming a baby after fertility treatment, or have a generally "normal" pregnancy, I’m here to walk beside you with care and confidence. It’s an honor to support families during such a transformative time, and I’m grateful to be part of this work.

There aren’t enough words to express how grateful we are for Katelyn. She wasn’t just our doula—she became one of the biggest sources of support during one of the most important and emotional times of our lives. Before our daughter was born, Katelyn prepared us with thoughtful education and guidance that helped us feel ready for birth and parenthood. When our delivery unexpectedly turned into an emergency C-section, she didn’t just check in—she showed up. She came to the hospital the very next morning, helped us navigate everything, answered our questions, and made sure we felt supported during an experience that was far different than we had imagined. Having Katelyn as our night doula afterward was one of the best decisions we made. From the very first night, we knew our daughter was in the safest, most loving hands. Her knowledge, warmth, and confidence allowed us to finally rest, knowing someone we completely trusted was caring for our baby. She anticipated our needs, reassured us through every challenge, and gave us peace of mind when we needed it most. Katelyn has a rare combination of expertise, kindness, and genuine compassion. She made us feel supported every step of the way and helped transform an unexpected birth experience into a positive postpartum journey. We will always be thankful for the care she gave our family, and we wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for an outstanding doula. She is simply the best.

We feel incredibly lucky to have had Leticia as our night doula during these first weeks with our newborn. Looking back, I honestly don’t know how we would have gotten through this postpartum journey without her. What really sets Leticia apart is how much she genuinely cares about our baby and our family. We can tell that she takes care of our baby with so much patience, gentleness, and love. She is attentive to his needs and treats him with warmth, care, and professional knowledge. It feels like our baby can always calm down immediately in Leticia’s hands. Knowing that our baby was in such good hands allowed us to truly relax when Leticia was here at night. That peace of mind is something we cannot put a price on. She is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, calm, reliable, and dependable. Her communication is also exceptional. She is clear and precise, but never cold or clinical. We always felt completely comfortable asking her questions, no matter how small or repetitive they might have seemed. We really appreciate how approachable and generous Leticia has been with her guidance and how willing she is to answer all of our questions. We are so grateful for everything she has done for us and for our baby. Leticia is truly outstanding at what she does, and I cannot recommend her enough. Any new parent would be incredibly fortunate to have her supporting them through those precious, exhausting, and sometimes difficult first weeks with a newborn.
