Hi, I’m Mehri. I’m a mom of two girls, and I truly believe there is nothing more important than helping a mother feel safe, supported, and never alone. I went through this-when you dont have any support, no one can understand you, even sometimes your friends or your family members. During my pregnant period I almost lost 2 my best friends because of I was expecting from them support that I never received, not because of they dont care, they just dont know how to deal with that. Life once surprised me with an unexpected home birth before the ambulance arrived. In that moment, I learned that staying calm, taking a deep breath, and having someone beside you can change everything. Since then, I’ve carried that feeling with me. I love listening, encouraging, making tea, holding a baby so a mom can rest, or simply sitting quietly when that’s what’s needed. Families often tell me that they feel calm around me, and that’s the greatest compliment I could ever receive.

I focus on meeting people where they are at and helping to optimize care and support that is tailored to each individual’s unique needs. I completed my initial doula training through Birthing Advocacy Doula Trainings in 2020 and have since completed an additional birth doula training at Bastyr as well as numerous other continued education trainings including Spinning Babies, a Lactation Educator training, and a Body Ready Method training.

Five years ago, I became a birth nerd. Long before my son was born, I found myself fascinated by fertility, pregnancy, birth, postpartum recovery, and breastfeeding. I couldn’t get enough—I was constantly reading, learning, and diving deeper into everything related to the childbearing journey. After becoming a mother, that curiosity only grew stronger. Eventually, I realized that supporting families during pregnancy and birth was more than an interest—it was a calling. To further my knowledge and develop my skills, I completed one of the nation’s leading doula training programs at Bastyr University, approved by DONA International.
