About me

Victoria Michonski, CD, HCHI, CLC, is passionate about helping families have healthy and happy births! She loves to help create a unique roadmap to baby (and beyond) with her clients by instilling confidence thru education, evidence based information and with support! She describes her philosophy as: “Each birthing parent’s body, pregnancy, birth path, values, and labor are different and with empathy and compassion she loves to help prepare, support and honor the birthing parents and their process while teaching savvy strategies to cope and to navigate maternity care.” Formerly a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) student and a veteran doula of 17 years, supporting more than 1400 families, Victoria is co-founder of 312Doulas, a doula agency providing childbirth education, labor support doula care, and postpartum doula care. 312Doulas serves the greater Chicago area. Victoria is a certified doula thru ToLabor (formerly ALACE) and Midwest Maternal Child Institute (MMCI), an Evidence Based Birth® Instructor, a Hypnobabies® childbirth education instructor (HCHI) and a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) thru the Center for Breastfeeding. She is currently pursuing the Spinning Babies® Parent Educator certificate and working towards becoming an IBCLC. Victoria favorite places to support families is Birth Center of Chicago, Burr Ridge Birth Center, Evanston Hospital, Highland Park Hospital, University of Chicago, Hinsdale Hospital, Prentice Hospital & Rush Hospital .
