About me

Hi, I’m Zakiah, your future doula! As a certified doula, I am passionate about supporting women and families through the beautiful yet transformative experience of childbirth. My mission is to provide the education, advocacy, and compassionate care needed for a positive birth outcome. I believe in helping women trust their bodies and advocate for their needs while working alongside medical professionals to honor both the family’s wishes and medical requirements. I offer perinatal doula services, including prenatal visits, birth support, and postpartum care. I love empowering women and reminding them that their bodies are built for this! With certifications from Uzazi Village and Womb-ish, I bring empathy, education, advocacy, and unwavering support to every birth journey.

My role is to provide steady guidance, reassurance, and advocacy so you feel supported every step of the way. Free Consultation: A chance to connect, ask questions, and ensure we’re the right fit for your birth experience. Three Prenatal Visits (1–2 hours each): -Personalized birth education and planning -Guidance on comfort measures, labor positions, partner support tools, and coping techniques -Evidence-based resources and preparation for your birthing preferences (home, hospital, or birth center) Continuous Labor & Birth Support: -On-call support beginning at 38 weeks until birth -Continuous in-person emotional, physical, and informational support during labor and delivery -Reassurance and comfort techniques using touch, positioning, breathing, and encouragement -Advocacy support: helping you communicate your preferences clearly with your birth team Immediate Postpartum Support (up to 2 hours): -Assistance with initial feeding, bonding, and recovery -Gentle space-holding for your early postpartum transition One Postpartum Visit (within 2 weeks of birth): -Check in on family adjustment, emotional wellbeing, and physical recovery -Light newborn care and feeding support -Space to reflect on your birth story Unlimited Phone/Text/Email Support: Throughout pregnancy and up to two weeks postpartum
