I plan to give birth at the hospital. I have spinal issues so I want to try to give birth without an epidural or any type of medication going into my spine. I have federal bluecross blue shield and VIVA UAB insurance

I don’t know yet if I prefer a hospital birth or home birth but I know that I would like to have a water birth if possible. I need a supportive, informed doula that can help me to have as smooth and natural of a birth as possible.

Plan is hospital birth, I am unsure on budget at this time. My birth plan is more of a holistic/ natural option with no vaccinations or delayed and delayed cord cutting. I'd love someone who has experience of making sure my needs are not looked over and who is willing to speak up for my partner and I without hesitation. We are learning about how to handle ourselves with a more natural approach and not the typical hospital birth. My insurance ia BCBS of Alabama. What exactly is needed for plan details?
