Hannah Bertram

Hi, I’m Hannah — a doula with a heart for women and a passion for presence. My journey into birth work began in 2022, rooted in deep research, prayer, and a growing conviction that every woman deserves to feel heard, supported, and empowered during birth. With a background in English from the University of Kentucky, I’ve always been drawn to storytelling and the power of listening — both of which now shape how I support families in one of the most vulnerable seasons of their lives. I’ve always been empathetic by nature, and stepping into the role of a doula felt like a natural extension of who I am. I believe birth is not only a physical event but an emotional and spiritual one too, and I’m here to walk alongside women and their partners—helping them feel grounded, informed, and confident every step of the way. Whether you’re planning a hospital birth, home birth, or something in between, I’m honored to support your choices and hold space for your unique experience. I believe “life isn’t meant to be a sprint but a pilgrimage” - being a doula is one of my pilgrimage stops...

Hannah empowered us through education. She was always prepared and handled complex situations and emotions with compassion and strength. She shared in our prenatal excitement, provided an encouraging and empathetic presence during the exhaustion of a long labor, and held my hand gently through processing tough post-partum emotions. She helped me to reframe my experience in ways that reduced self-criticism and increased gratitude. I truly believe that her guidance and support contributed to my daughter's and my good health and positive outcomes in labor and delivery because she provided such well-researched information and the space to make informed decisions. I consider myself to be well-researched and educated about childbirth, and she still offered new and helpful insights to me every time we spoke! As a doula, Hannah is rock-solid in her knowledge, faith, communication skills, and ability to provide emotional support. Her approach is holistic and comprehensive- I believe that if my labor went completely differently, she would have been just as well-equipped and unflappable. I'm so happy that we got to be a part of Hannah's early career as a doula, and I highly recommend her services. Thanks again, Hannah! My husband and I will be forever grateful for your help in bringing our daughter into the world.

For those of you that don't know me, hi! I'm Natasha! & I'm obsessed with birth 😂 I'm a foster mom, I have an 2 year old son 😭, and a pretty cool husband! Ever since I had a traumatic birth & postpartum period with my son, I have become so passionate about mothers & making sure they are able to have the best birthing experience possible. So here we are! I've taken a birth & bereavement doula course, & am DONA and Tricare Certified! I've also documented multiple births & I don't think I've ever been more passionate about something in my life. There's something so incredibly special about watching someone become a mother for the very first time, it's almost like a high I get every single time I witness it! My mission in birth work is to instill something deeper in each and every one of my clients. By the time your babies birthday is here, I want you to feel informed. I want you to feel supported. And I want you to feel empowered. Because you are amazing. & birth is amazing. & women are badasses. I believe that every mother giving birth deserves access to education, resources, & support to ensure they have the birthing experience they envision. Whether you're giving birth at home, in a hospital, natural, medicated, belly, or vaginally, I'm the one who's going to be cheering you on from the sidelines & reminding you that your body was made for this & you can do this! 💓

I found out I was pregnant in February of 2023, things took a turn for the worse with my child's father within a month following. After leaving him he decided to remove himself entirely from my child's life and I was left feeling I was going to take on this incredibly scary and exciting life event all alone. Little did I know, I was the farthest from! Natasha was my doula. She supported me throughout my pregnancy, through childbirth and during the initial part of my postpartum experience. I have never in my life felt more unconditional love and support. She was knowledgable, calm and created a space that felt safe. If I was given the opportunity to go back in time and choose my child's father or Natasha for support, I'd choose her every time!

Madelyn Washburn has been an incredible support throughout my pregnancy. Navigating a high-risk pregnancy can be overwhelming and emotional, but Madelyn has been a constant source of reassurance, calm, and strength during this journey. She truly listens, shows up, and makes you feel seen and supported. Her knowledge, patience, and compassionate approach have helped ease so many of my worries and given me confidence during a time that hasn’t always been easy. I am beyond grateful for the incredible support and guidance I received from Dana in the early days of my breastfeeding journey. Right after birth, we faced several challenges—including low milk production, latch difficulties, my baby’s slow weight gain, and eventually a diagnosis of cow’s milk protein intolerance. Through it all, Dana met us with patience, encouragement, and genuine compassion. She not only offered practical solutions and expert knowledge, but also created a space where I felt heard and supported during a vulnerable and emotional time. Her presence helped me build the confidence I needed to keep going, even when it all felt incredibly overwhelming. Now, nearly 10 months later, I’m so proud to say we are still breastfeeding—and thriving. The benefits to both me and my baby have been remarkable: a deep bond, strong immunity for my little one, and significant cost savings (especially considering how expensive hypoallergenic formulas are!). I truly believe we wouldn’t be where we are today without Dana’s dedication and support.
