I am 26 years old and this is my first child so I would like someone to just give me advice and basically be there for me through this journey. I would like to give birth at a birthing center close to a hospital if I need to go to it, but I am not opposed to going to the hospital I just don't want to have the baby on my back. My budget is under $2,000 preferably. I also would like to try and breast feed to know what drinks or food I can intake now to help with that. I am also a picky eater so helping me come up with a balanced diet would also be a great help as well. I just would like to prep on what I should be doing each month and things I need to order so that I can already have it before the baby comes.

My birth preferences include: - I plan to receive an epidural for pain management. - I would like encouragement, comfort measures, and guidance before and after receiving the epidural. - I value clear communication, a calm presence, and someone who will help me feel confident and supported during labor. - I would appreciate assistance with labor positioning, breathing techniques, advocacy, and helping my support person participate in the birth experience. Giving birth in Adventist Shady Grove Hospital and would like to prepare for a natural birth. Learning to relax my pelvic floor and breathing exercises are essential. I'd like to find someone to help coach me and my husband for labor and help advocate for me in the hospital setting, for example making sure I can deliver my placenta naturally and wait for the umbilical cord to turn white before cutting.
