I've been a birth doula for 35 years (I started young!) and I am also a childbirth educator. I got into doula work to advocate so that you can have the best birth possible. I am certified in Spiningbabies, the Rebozo Technique and in Acupuncture. I have always said.....this is your baby, your body and your birth and I'm there to support you in however and wherever you want to birth. I want to make sure that your spouse/partner also feels supported and cared for also. I live in Oceanside and serve San Diego County.

My name is Tina Louise and I love supporting families around their birth experience. I'm passionate about birth and working to improve birth outcomes in Los Angeles and surrounding areas. I attended my first birth at the age of 16 years in a homebirth community and knew this was a calling for me. I attended home births, birth centers and hospital births, and finally decided to become certified as a Doula in 2014. I have volunteered with Joy in Birthing Foundation, worked as a private doula under Doula Sisters LA and began with SBCC a as a Community-based Doula in 2018. I am experienced in all forms of doula support, Lactation, Childbirth Education, Spinning Babies, Placenta Encapsulation, Infant Massage and a Reiki II practitioner. I am currently only taking at risk clients for doula support through SBCC and providing birth placenta encapsulation, Spinning Babies classes and Reiki II sessions to Southwest Los Angeles, Long Beach and surrounding cities.

My baby girl was born at home in 2023, and my baby boy was born at a birth center in 2025. I knew many birth story’s that were expressed as bad, and my hearts desire was to become to those mommas a redemptive roadmap back into the birth world, and to new mommas, a roadmap where a bad birth experience wasn’t in their story - So I became a birth doula. Upon availability, you may hire the midwife to support you overnight during the postpartum period. Juli brings a wealth of experience with both singletons and multiples and can help families get a good night's sleep. She can also assist with feeding/nursing and newborn care skills. If you are feeling tired and alone, please reach out. If the midwife isn't available, she can help you find someone who is so you can access the support you need.
