My passion increased after working in healthcare for over 20 years as a National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and IV infusionist in busy Rheumatology and OB/GYN practices. I started my master’s program in 2014 and earned my degree in Health Education and Health Promotion in 2016. That same year, I become a Health Education Specialist with a focus in maternal and fetal health and human lactation. Shortly thereafter, with continued coursework, a Doula was born.
