Heather was attentive, kind, caring, respectful, and professional throughout the appointments I had with her. The fact she does at home visits was such a blessing because especially after having a baby, it’s not easy to get up and go somewhere. I appreciated how easy she made the process to apply, schedule, and track the appointment notes altogether (as well any suggestions). I felt comfortable and I learned a lot from her. You can definitely tell she has years of experience and loves what she does! She is also Team Mom and Baby, so she will side on what’s best for Mom and Baby to ensure you have the best breastfeeding experience with your little one. She also is great at following up with you and being available when you need help. She never made me feel bad about asking so many questions (LOL). As a matter of fact, she welcomed all the questions to ensure I was comfortable and confident when it came to breastfeeding my baby. Thank you Heather! My family and I appreciate you and cherish you for helping make our new chapter enjoyable and welcoming!!

I opened the first My Pure Delivery clinic in 2016, and the second in 2021. Our team of lactation consultants share my passion for helping families, and train extensively to ensure that as My Pure Delivery grows, we continue to meet the high standard of care on which our reputation has been built. Your goals are our goals, and we are here to support you however you need us along your infant feeding journey.

I cannot recommend My Pure Delivery highly enough. From my very first phone call to schedule an appointment, the entire process—including insurance—was handled seamlessly by their team. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and supportive. At my first appointment with Noah and Claudette, my baby boy was five weeks old and struggling to latch. My goal was to exclusively breastfeed, and I was feeling overwhelmed. The team provided exceptional guidance, including helping me determine the correct flange size for pumping to increase my milk supply. With a personalized care plan thoughtfully designed by Claudette and Becca, and after four visits, my baby was finally able to latch successfully. I was in tears the first time it happened. At the time, my baby had been losing weight as I transitioned from formula feeding to exclusive breastfeeding. Throughout the entire process, their team closely monitored his progress with regular weight checks to ensure he was gaining appropriately. I would especially like to thank Claudette for her kindness and encouragement. Her reassuring words gave me the confidence I needed, and I am now successfully breastfeeding without any drop in supply. With the right team and the right guidance, breastfeeding truly can feel achievable and even easy. I am incredibly grateful for the support I received. Thank you so much—I sincerely hope Claudette sees this review.

Hi, I’m Denisse Mejia, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), mom of two girls, and founder of Texas Breastfeeding Center. My connection to lactation began long before it became my career—I grew up watching and learning from my mother, who was also a lactation consultant, and later experienced motherhood and breastfeeding for myself. Those experiences shaped the way I care for families today: with compassion, curiosity, and an understanding that feeding a baby is about so much more than simply getting a “good latch.” My philosophy is that families deserve evidence-based information without judgment or pressure. There is no one-size-fits-all version of breastfeeding, postpartum, or parenthood, so I meet parents where they are and help them make informed decisions that feel sustainable for their family. I’m especially passionate about creating a space where parents feel heard, respected, and confident asking questions—whether we’re working through breastfeeding, pumping, bottle feeding, oral function concerns, or simply figuring out what life with a new baby looks like. As a bilingual English- and Spanish-speaking IBCLC, I’m also deeply committed to making quality lactation care feel accessible and culturally responsive for the families I serve.

Recent review

Denisse has been an incredible support throughout my breastfeeding journey with my baby girl. My baby was having a hard time latching, and she patiently helped us until she was feeding well. I also had a painful clogged milk duct, and she helped relieve it with massage and milk expression, which brought me immediate relief. Beyond breastfeeding, she was a huge source of emotional support during my postpartum period and always made me feel heard and encouraged. She helped me choose the correct flange size for my pump, explained how to use all the pump parts properly, and answered every question I had. She is extremely knowledgeable, caring, and always just a phone call away. Her home visits were so convenient, and she truly goes above and beyond for both mom and baby. I highly recommend her to every new mom looking for compassionate, expert lactation support.

Hi, I’m Avery. I’m an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and, most importantly, a mom to two little ones who inspired my passion for supporting families during the early stages of parenthood. My own experiences with motherhood showed me just how beautiful, overwhelming, and transformative this season can be. I know firsthand how much parents want to simply soak in those newborn moments without feeling stressed, confused, or alone when feeding challenges arise. That understanding is what led me to this work. I truly believe that lactation support is not a luxury. It is a vital part of prenatal and postpartum care. Every family deserves access to compassionate, evidence-based, and affordable support during such a vulnerable and important time. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, respected, and supported as you navigate feeding your baby. Whether you’re preparing during pregnancy, working through challenges, or simply looking for reassurance, I’m here to listen, guide, and help you find what works best for you and your baby.

Avery is so sweet, encouraging & makes you feel comfortable! She handles your baby with care & pays attention to what you need help with. She recommended some exercises to do for my baby & advice on how to relieve some pain I had from a shallow latch. It’s also a huge plus that she will come to your home! So nice to not have to go anywhere & be in the comfort of your home.

Guided by an unwavering passion for nurturing others, Nicole embarked on a transformative journey to elevate the lives of new and expectant mothers. After earning her psychology degree from Texas A&M Corpus Christi in 2004, Nicole took the path of nursing, driven by an innate desire to make a meaningful impact. Her nursing journey crystallized at Delmar College in Corpus Christi, where she obtained her associate degree in Nursing in 2007. Stepping into various nursing roles, it was within the tender embrace of Labor and Delivery that Nicole's heart found its true home - working with new mothers. In 2011, a pivotal shift occurred as Nicole joined Hermann Memorial Southeast's newborn nursery team and postpartum unit. This marked the genesis of her journey into the realm of lactation. Beginning as a Certified Lactation Counselor, Nicole's fervor and expertise propelled her into the heart of the Lactation and Education Department in 2014. Nurturing mothers at their bedside, Nicole wove a tapestry of support that extended far beyond feeding. Her efforts championed initiatives like skin-to-skin after deliveries, promoting parent-newborn unity, and empowering nursing staff with essential breastfeeding skills. Nicole's commitment was honored with the Good Samaritan Bronze Award in both 2014 and 2016, reflecting her transformative work in the Lactation department. In 2015, she achieved a significant milestone by becoming an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). This was paralleled by her completion of a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Texas, Arlington. A new chapter unfolded in 2017, as Nicole joined forces with Suzanne, Tessa, and Kyna, at Dr. James Liu, ENT's office, specializing in oral restriction diagnosis and treatment. Her role involved providing pre and post-frenotomy support, alleviating feeding challenges caused by lip and tongue-ties. Harnessing this wealth of experience, Nicole established her private practice, extending compassionate in-home lactation support across Southeast Houston. The natural progression led her to unite her private practice with Bayou City Breastfeeding, LLC in 2019, further amplifying her reach to support mothers in South and Central Houston. A dedicated board member of Houston Area Lactation Consultants and Educators (HALCEA), Nicole's community commitment reflects her unwavering dedication to making a difference. Nestled in Houston, Texas, alongside her husband and two daughters, Nicole enjoys an active life and finds solace in Pilates classes

Hello, I’m Katelyn Kleiber, and I’m passionate about empowering families on their breastfeeding journey. As an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and Registered Lactation Consultant (RLC), I’ve dedicated my career to supporting new parents and their little ones. I took a unique path to becoming an IBCLC. Unlike many others, I started working in lactation before experiencing my own breastfeeding journey. But my fascination with a woman’s incredible ability to grow and sustain life has been with me since childhood. This lifelong passion for women’s health led me to explore various avenues within the field. Then came my “aha” moment: lactation. I realized there was a significant gap in support for postpartum families, and I felt drawn to fill it. Guided by this newfound purpose, I embarked on my journey as a lactation consultant. Since July 2022, I’ve officially held the title of IBCLC. However, my journey began earlier—back in December 2021—when I worked with clients as a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist (CBS) and intern. These experiences shaped my approach to lactation support. I firmly believe that our bodies and beings are interconnected. When working with families, I consider both mother and baby as part of a system. It’s essential to address complications on both sides. But my philosophy extends beyond medical care. I create realistic, sustainable plans that preserve positive relationships around feedings. Breastfeeding isn’t just about nutrition; it’s a beautiful dance between two souls. I encourage laid-back breastfeeding, allowing families to feed without cumbersome nursing pillows. Babies can use their reflexes to their advantage, making feeding a more natural experience. At Bayou City Breastfeeding, we’ve designed a care model that allows us to continue supporting families over weeks, months, or even years. These meaningful relationships are incredibly special. Witnessing progress and positive changes during our journey together fills me with joy. Breastfeeding success isn’t a solo endeavor. Families—partners, grandparents, and all—are crucial. Their support eases the transition into life with a newborn. Together, we create a nurturing environment where everyone plays a vital role. Every family is unique. I take the time to understand their goals, challenges, and dreams. Whether it’s baby-led latch, side-lying bottle feeding, or other techniques, I tailor my recommendations to fit their specific situation. Realistic, doable plans ensure families thrive. Breastfeeding can be overwhelming. When mothers feel uncertain or stressed, I work collaborativel with the mother to identify stressors and create a personalized strategy to minimize discomfort. We’re a team, supporting each other through the ups and downs. When I’m not helping families, you’ll find me exploring the world. Traveling allows me to learn from different cultures and connect with people. I’m an avid reader, diving into books that expand my horizons. And nature—oh, how it rejuvenates my soul! Whether hiking through lush forests or strolling along sandy shores, I find solace in the great outdoors

My approach to lactation support is holistic and biological, and tailored to each family's unique needs. I understand that no two breastfeeding journeys are the same, and I strive to determine the root cause of any difficulties. My goal is to help your family meet your breastfeeding goals and empower you throughout your journey with excellent support, care, and education. One of my greatest joys is seeing the bond created between the infant and the breastfeeding parent. Watching infants thrive and develop is incredibly rewarding for me, and I find parental empowerment equally fulfilling. I also believe that other family members, such as partners and grandparents, play a vital role in the breastfeeding journey. They are a crucial part of the support network and help the breastfeeding parent achieve their goals. My support is structured to meet the unique needs of each family. If a mother feels uncertain or overwhelmed about breastfeeding, I take several steps: praising her accomplishments, actively listening to her concerns, assessing the dyad, discussing any changes in breastfeeding goals, and creating or modifying the Plan of Care. I often recommend techniques like "skin to skin Baby-Moons" which include baby-led/cue based feeding and laid-back biological breastfeeding. This method allows the baby to explore and be in control, fostering a natural and comfortable breastfeeding experience. My current areas of study and interest as an IBCLC include microbiome seeding/ gut health and bottle refusal.

Hello! I'm Miranda Perotti, a dedicated IBCLC, BSN, RN. As a lactation consultant, I've embarked on a journey fueled by my passion for supporting breastfeeding families and empowering them to achieve their feeding goals. With a background in nursing from Abilene Christian University, I bring nine years of invaluable experience in the Women's Health field, evolving from a labor and delivery nurse to an IVF nurse coordinator, and finally finding my calling as a lactation consultant after the birth of my first daughter. My journey into lactation consulting was inspired by the incredible support I received from my own IBCLC during my breastfeeding journey. Facing numerous challenges early on, her knowledge and guidance were pivotal in helping me navigate through the hurdles. Now, I'm driven by the desire to pay it forward and assist other families in their feeding journeys with the same level of care and expertise that I received. With a holistic approach to lactation support, I believe in the power of knowledge and support above all else. Less is more, and I strive to empower families with the confidence and skills they need to succeed without relying on unnecessary accessories or interventions. What I find most rewarding about supporting breastfeeding families is witnessing the joy and fulfillment when they meet or exceed their original feeding goals. I tailor my support to meet the unique needs and preferences of each family. By understanding their daily life, work, cultural practices, and family dynamics, I develop personalized plans that are realistic and achievable. When mothers feel uncertain or overwhelmed about breastfeeding, I offer a compassionate ear and work collaboratively to navigate through the challenges. I often recommend the Koala hold, laid-back feeding, or biologic nursing, as I've seen firsthand how these approaches can facilitate efficient feeding even in the face of early difficulties. Drawing from my own breastfeeding journey, which included experiences with preterm birth, a NICU stay, oral restrictions, and feeding success despite the hurdles, I offer reassurance and support to parents, reminding them that their current struggles are temporary and that brighter days lie ahead. Outside of my professional role, I find solace and rejuvenation in outdoor activities like gardening, camping, and hiking. I also love to try new foods! Join me on this transformative journey, where together, we can navigate through the challenges and celebrate the triumphs of breastfeeding parenthood!

Welcome to my corner of the internet! I'm Brandy, a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with a passion for helping mothers and babies on their breastfeeding journey. My career in nursing began in 2006, where I initially found my calling in the labor and delivery unit. Witnessing the miracle of new life and being a part of that special moment filled me with joy and purpose. However, it was my personal experience with breastfeeding challenges that truly ignited my passion for lactation and breastfeeding support. As a mother myself, I faced hurdles and uncertainties in my breastfeeding journey that led me to dive headfirst into the world of lactation science and support. This transformative experience sparked a desire to empower and guide other mothers through their own breastfeeding challenges. Becoming an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in January 2018 was a pivotal step in my journey, solidifying my commitment to providing evidence-based care and guidance. In late 2020, I made the decision to transition full-time into private practice, allowing me to dedicate my expertise exclusively to supporting mothers and babies in their breastfeeding endeavors. With years of hands-on experience in labor and delivery, coupled with my specialized training as an IBCLC, I bring a unique blend of medical expertise and compassionate care to every interaction. I understand the physical and emotional aspects of breastfeeding, and I am committed to providing personalized guidance tailored to each mother's individual needs. When I'm not assisting mothers and babies, my faith and family keep me grounded. I'm a proud wife and mother of two wonderful sons. Hello, I'm Krysta Paulo, BSN, RN, IBCLC, and I'm honored to journey alongside families as they navigate the beautiful, sometimes challenging, world of breastfeeding. For the past four years, I've poured my heart into lactation support, drawing from a rich background in psychology and nursing. My journey into lactation consulting began during my time as a Mother/Baby and NICU RN, where I found myself drawn to the intricacies of breastfeeding. Witnessing the profound bond that forms between mother and baby during these tender moments ignited a passion within me to offer unwavering support to breastfeeding families. My approach to lactation support is grounded in a belief in individualized care and empowerment. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach; instead, I work closely with each family to create a plan that aligns with their unique goals and values. Whether it's virtual visits or in-person consultations, I meet families where they are, ensuring that their concerns, preferences, and aspirations guide our journey together. What I find most rewarding about supporting breastfeeding families is witnessing that magical moment when it all clicks - when a mother fully embraces her role and settles into her new identity with confidence and grace. It's a moment I cherish deeply, knowing that I've played a part in fostering that connection. Outside of my professional role, I find immense joy in being a mother and a small business owner. Creativity fuels my spirit, whether I'm working on projects with my Cricut or exploring the great outdoors. As for breastfeeding, it's not just a job for me - it's a deeply personal journey. Becoming a mother myself after becoming an IBCLC opened my eyes to the profound bond it creates between mother and infant. It's a sacred, irreplaceable connection that I wish every mother could experience. In the breastfeeding journey, I believe that the role of other family members, whether it's partners, grandparents, or siblings, is invaluable. Their support and understanding can make all the difference, providing a strong foundation of encouragement for the breastfeeding dyad. When a mother feels uncertain or overwhelmed about breastfeeding, I offer reassurance and guidance, reminding her that breastfeeding can look different for every mother and baby. Together, we explore communication signals and techniques that resonate with her unique situation, empowering her to trust her instincts and find her rhythm. As for techniques or methods, I advocate for a baby-led approach, embracing the natural instincts of both mother and infant. It's a journey of discovery and connection, guided by love and trust. In essence, my role as an IBCLC isn't just about offering lactation support - it's about nurturing relationships, fostering empowerment, and celebrating the beautiful bond between mother and baby. I would like to share my background and a little bit about myself. With over a decade of experience as a childbirth educator, I've dedicated myself to helping families navigate the exciting yet challenging transition into parenthood. Through my own challenges, I developed a deep empathy for families facing similar struggles and a strong desire to provide them with the support they need from the very beginning. With a holistic approach to lactation support, I believe in addressing the needs of the whole person. I find immense reward in helping families feel empowered and confident in their feeding choices, knowing that they have the knowledge and support to nurture their little ones. Outside of my professional role, I cherish spending time with my family and friends, exploring the outdoors, and embarking on adventures. One of my biggest passions is learning sign language for my two deaf children and to support the broader D/deaf community, from pregnancy to lactation. My current skill level is conversational sign but am working on fluency and medical terminology. When it comes to supporting breastfeeding families, I recognize the importance of involving other family members, such as partners and grandparents, in the journey. Their support is invaluable in bolstering parents' confidence and empowerment. As a mom of two children with a rare genetic condition, I've spent many hours researching. I also use this determination when supporting new families. I enjoy researching to find the right answer for you. I tailor my support to meet the unique needs and preferences of each family by starting with open communication and truly listening to their concerns. When a mother is feeling uncertain or overwhelmed about breastfeeding, I provide a compassionate ear and work with them to develop a plan that aligns with their wishes and makes them feel empowered.
