I need someone to be there during labor and delivery, then to provide postpartum visits. This is my second child. Labor time with my first was 5 hours with no complications. I want it to be just like the first time: Surrounded by my midwife team and family all working together through the intense process. I’d love to try a water birth this time! We kept the cord attached to the placenta a while and did skin to skin immediately.

I would like to opt for a midwife as opposed to an OB. I am not sure of my birth plans yet.
