I have over 20 years of public health experience working at the private, state and federal level. The importance of public health and living a healthy lifestyle has been my life since I was a young girl! My mother set the stage early in life by encouraging an overall holistic approach. I witnessed my first birth at the age of nine and that exposure opened a world of possibilities. I have always had an interest in maternal and child health and a passion to support women during one of the most important seasons of life, the sacred transition into motherhood. After having children of my own, I answered the call to follow my dream and become a doula. My goal is to educate and provide resources for healthy food and lifestyle choices that can lead to a better quality of life for those in the family and future years. I received a B.S. degree in health promotion and disease prevention from the University of Southern California, and a M.P.H. in health policy and management from Emory University. Divine Rhythm Doula + Wellness Services was created to offer birth and postpartum support to expectant families.
