I struggled with postpartum depression and anxiety, and during that challenging season I found comfort and connection in local moms’ groups. Being surrounded by mothers with similar experiences lit a fire in me—I knew I wanted to support women through these vulnerable, powerful moments. I became a doula to deepen my knowledge of childbirth and to better serve families. After completing my certification, I went on to achieve a successful, non-medicated VBAC with my second child—an experience that strengthened my confidence and reinforced my belief in the power and resilience of birthing women. Today, my mission is to remind women of their strength, ensure families receive the care and respect they deserve wherever they choose to give birth, and help create the safest, healthiest experience possible for both mom and baby.
