I had such an amazing experience with Tamanno as my Doula. I was about 35 weeks and nearing the end of my pregnancy after a big move across states. I was overwhelmed trying to find a doula last minute , in a new state. I found Tamy through my insurance and we both Immediately found out that we were the right fit . I spoke about my birth story and what I was trying for. Tamy let me know her experience and how she would support me . She visited me in my home to meet and she made a very detailed birth plan for me. She also showed me the tools she uses to help with laboring. Such as : a labor comb, a ball and essential oils. She even purchased a eucalyptus oil for me, per my request. She went above and beyond before my labor and I felt supported and prepared before birth. Once labor started Tamy came to the hospital so fast. She made sure I was comfortable and all my needs were met and that the nurses and doctors were on the same page as me . She was there for every contraction holding my hand and fanning me. She massaged me and helped me labor in the tub, and helped me labor on the ball. I had a foley bulb for a few hours and even through the pain she took her time to talk to me and helped me not focus on the pain but the end goal. I felt so supported , heard and prepared with Tamanno as my Doula. She was so caring , understanding and nurturing . I labored for close to 36 hours and she was there for me every minute . Her communication is superb and she even helped my family who helped me and came to visit. I would recommend her a million times over . She will listen to your needs and make sure you get everything you ask for as long as its safe. She looks out for you and will speak up if she wants to suggest or recommend anything that will help you. You will not regret her services. I had a great birth experience because of Tamy. I hope she can be my doula for future pregnancies as well!

Susan was a wonderful asset during my pregnancy and birth! I was having a water birth, and I would not have been prepared without Susan. She gave me the exercise, nutrition, and mindset information I needed to make sure I was healthy and ready for birth. She also walked me through the labor movements I should practice before birth so I would be ready to use all kinds of options when it was time. During birth, she was extremely supportive of me and my husband, and we were so happy to have her there. She was encouraging, reminded both of us to drink and eat, and talked with the midwives for us so we could focus on the labor. Susan made the whole experience so wonderful, I had the perfect birth and I look back on it and cry happy tears. Thank you Susan!

Shauna and her team were incredible. Having someone to support us in our Christian faith and incorporate Christ into our birthing experience was exactly what I wanted. She worked with us from the very beginning on intentions, preparation and support. When the time came for labor and delivery- I felt 100% supported in my birth plan by both her and my provider. I felt respected in my wishes. When labor peaked and transition hit and I debated going back on my plan A she kept me informed of the risks/benefits of the epidural. Ultimately I leaned into my strength and with her support (counter pressure, aromatherapy, cold rag, hot compact) I was able to achieve the fully unmedicated birth that I prayed for. I couldn’t have done it without her gentle guidance, reassurance when I was scared, and calm presence. Highly recommend!!!!
