Danyale Washington

My name is Danyale Washington. I graduated with my B.S. in Psychology from Concordia University Chicago. After working for over a decade in various facets of childcare and education —as well as having two children of my own— I have seen countless times, as well as witnessed myself as a parent, the lack of support and resources. My passion for helping others and dedication to children and their families reaching their full potential has always been a big part of who I am. It has continuously fueled me to pursue a career in doing just that–offering my insight and expertise to help those I serve feel confident and well-equipped to foster healthy development in children. My philosophy is rooted in empowerment, positivism, and compassion. It is at the core of all my services. My approach is strength-based and client-centered. It focuses on being an aid to those I provide support to in using the tools and skills they already possess to foster optimal growth and development in children. I believe in empowering individuals as they navigate the more challenging components of childrearing. My role is to be in your corner—cheering you on—guiding and supporting you while utilizing your strengths to achieve your goals. You are the driver; I am simply the map!

We started working with Danyale when our son was about 8 weeks old, and we’re so glad that we started so early! We learned ways to instill healthy sleep habits for our baby right from the start. We were amazed at how quickly he learned to put himself to sleep, and sleep through the night! Danyale was absolutely wonderful and it was extremely helpful to have someone to ask questions to weekly and guide us through the process. We are so thankful to have such a happy and well rested baby - thank you so much Danyale! You are amazing, and we are so grateful for you and Sweet Piece!

JulieAnn worked with our family as a night nurse for our baby Cindy from birth to 10 weeks. She was reliable, gentle with our baby, and provided helpful support during the newborn stage. I was able to sleep fully sound knowing our baby was in good hands. We appreciated her assistance during those early weeks as we adjusted to life with a new baby!

Hello everyone! My name is Parul, and I’m a Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula based in Chicago, Illinois. I’m originally from Mississippi and have called Chicago home since 2009. I’m also a proud mom to a 21-year-old son! My journey into doula work grew from my passion for holistic wellness, mental health, and the connection between mind, body, and soul. Before becoming a doula, I worked as a holistic practitioner specializing in mental wellness and food as medicine, and these passions continue to influence the way I support families today. I believe nourishment, education, emotional well-being, and feeling supported all play an important role in the pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience. I especially enjoy supporting mothers who desire an unmedicated birth and helping them feel prepared, confident, and empowered through education, comfort measures, and holistic practices. I also love incorporating my knowledge of nutrition, Ayurveda, and mindfulness into my work with families. Outside of doula work, I love traveling, cooking, discovering new foods and cultures, and spending quality time with my friends and family. I’m a big believer in enjoying life’s experiences, continuing to learn, and always finding ways to grow both personally and professionally.

I am so relieved and happy that we chose Parul to be our doula. From our first contact, she was extremely responsive, clear, thorough, warm, and supportive in her communication with us. Her knowledge of the birthing process and preparation is unparalleled and i felt so much more confident going into my delivery with her by my side. At the hospital she was an amazing advocate who helped to ensure our birth plan was honored as closely as possible by our doctor. She was also a huge support during the birth when I needed some encouragement to keep pushing. She also spent a lot of time getting to know us personally which helped pass the time in the hospital. Overall I couldn’t recommend Parul more. When we prepare for our next baby I will definitely work with her again!

I began babysitting when I was 13 for some of the neighbor kids. Having a big family with a lot of younger children around, really gave me the experience I needed for in the childcare field. As I grew older I would babysit for multiple families in the community I grew up in. I also ran my church nursery, and was the assistant director at Eagle Ridge Child Outreach at another church for the summer. After moving to Chicago in 2016 I began babysitting as needed for a family with a premature newborn in the evenings. I then moved on to a part time nanny position with a 6 month old until they moved when she was 18 months. I then worked as an as needed babysitter again while working at grocery store. I then moved on to overnights at Maryville Crisis Nursery and then full time day nannying with infants and toddlers and now nighttime nannying for newborns. I love working with kids and seeing them grow into their own abilities and personalities. I would love to help you be the best rested parent possible!

I highly recommend Katie to any family seeking exceptional night nanny support. She worked with us 2–3 nights a week for the first four months after our third daughter was born, bringing endless patience and the expertise in newborn care that allowed us to successfully navigate our whole family through the sleep-challenged newborn phase. Katie is exceptionally skilled in newborn feeding and soothing. She guided our baby from contact sleep to fully independent sleep by four months. She is the ultimate professional—always punctual, proactive in her communications, and diligent about cleaning bottles and diapering areas. Her daily night logs made tracking and adjusting our care plan effortless. Plus, her flexibility with our larger family dynamic was exceptional; she was just as willing to step in with our toddlers as she was with the baby. She is truly a gem!

Marlene was such a blessing for our new family. She provided overnight support for our newborn from birth until ~6 weeks. Since this was our first baby, she immediately made us feel at ease and supported with her warmth and friendliness. Marlene is very professional: was always on time, followed our lead/routines, and offered a wealth of knowledge and advice when asked. She provided us tips for soothing, feeding, and sleep shaping to encourage longer stretches of overnight sleep (which was so valuable for us as new parents!) based on what she observed with our daughter. It is so clear that she is extremely experienced and absolutely adores what she does. We cannot thank her enough for supporting us in the early weeks - it made a world of difference in adjusting to our new lives as parents. I would recommend her to anybody who needs postpartum or family support, day or night!

Hi, I'm Paola, a certified pediatric sleep consultant (CPSM) and the founder of Rested Little. I work with exhausted families who have babies and toddlers between 4 and 24 months, helping them build healthy, sustainable sleep habits through personalized, gentle methods. I believe there's no one-size-fits-all approach to sleep. Every plan I create is tailored to your baby's unique temperament, your family's lifestyle, and your comfort level, whether that means a gradual, low-intervention approach or something more structured. My goal is always the same: to help your baby learn to sleep independently, so the whole family can finally rest. I work 100% virtually, which means I can support families anywhere in the world. I offer bilingual support in English and Spanish, and I'm available by text throughout the proces, including those hard nights when you need someone in your corner. When we work together, you're not just getting a sleep plan. You're getting a partner who genuinely cares about your family's wellbeing and will be with you every step of the way

Working with Paola completely changed our sleep situation. She listened to every detail, understood our challenges, and created a plan that actually felt doable. What I loved most is how supportive and patient she was, I never felt judged or overwhelmed. Within days, we saw improvements, and within a couple of weeks, our nights were finally peaceful again. I feel like I got my life back. I would recommend her to anyone who feels stuck or exhausted. She truly cares, and it shows.

Huddle has been an absolute Godsend for us. Our little one was discharged from the NICU, after a total of 17 hospital nights, and my husband and I were struggling with feeding him. We knew we needed support from licensed nurses rather than typical caretakers. Jessica and Huddle absolutely changed our post pardom lives. Huddle provided us with daytime, as well as overnight services. Knowing our baby was in the hands of experienced, licensed, nurses while I rested and recovered, was the biggest peace of mind. We were working on feeding goals in tandem with our pediatrician and Huddle. Together we nursed our baby from a tiny guy, to a little chunk! Without Huddle, I dont think my husband and I would have been able to get our guy as healthy as he is today. We are using the telehealth service as well. Jessica is so knowledgeable and has answers for all of our questions. Its so nice being able to connect with a consistent provider, and have quick, easy access when we have those first time parent questions! One thing Id wish we'd done differently is scheduled Huddle from when I was pregnant rather than after birth. Having services set up from right when we got home would have been the best. If youre considering Huddle and are currently pregnant, I would schedule in advance!

Hi! I am Erin Van Engen, a pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant and Certified Child Sleep Consultant. And I LOVE sleep! Sleepless nights are not just a given, or a right of passage into parenthood and you do not have to just wait and hope your child grows out of it. I guide parents to follow gentle techniques to teach babies to sleep on their own, enabling them to sleep through the night. I help establish good routines and boundaries for older children to stop bedtime resistance and ensure kids are getting the appropriate amount of sleep. Whatever age your child is, let’s get started teaching them independent sleep habits so your whole family can enjoy a well-rested, happy and healthy life!

Erin has helped us with both of our children. We started our oldest at 18months and then our second child at 7 months. Both experiences were great! I can’t believe the differences she helped us make. We were rocking them to sleep and then they would wake up when we tried to leave the room. Bedtimes were hours long battles of trying to rock to sleep and then army crawl out of the room only to have them wake up 30 min later. We loved her methods and she was very responsive to any questions we had. She tailored her plans to our needs and we can’t recommend her highly enough. If you are on the fence just give her a call!! Sleeping is a wonderful thing for everyone!

Kainos Jackson was a teacher in my daughter's infant room. She was the most caring person I had ever met. She handled every need of my daughter and kept me updated daily about her day and her growth. She genuinely cared about my child and all of the babies. If I could have hired her as a full time personal nanny, I would have!

October 2026

I had the pleasure of having Ms. Jackson care for my son, Marcel, when he was an infant and toddler while enrolled at KinderCare Learning Center. Not only was I impressed with her as a parent, I also had the privilege of overseeing her as one of the directors of the center. Kainos displayed a great deal of patience while teaching young children such enriching tasks, and I was often in awe of her techniques. My son learned many important life milestones while in her care, and as an early childhood professional myself, I was elated to have her in his life for those important lessons. On a professional note Ms. Jackson is very receptive to constructive criticism and never was one to shy away from the desire for professional development. I highly recommend Kainos for any role as it pertains to children as I know they will be in great hands.

October 2026

I can’t say enough good things about Ms. K! She has been a part of our family for many years, first as Bria’s teacher and then as her babysitter. She is an amazing educator who truly has a passion for working with children. What I appreciate most about Ms. K is the love, patience, and care she has always shown my daughter. She treated Bria like she was her own, and as a parent, there’s no better feeling than knowing your child is in good hands. When I became an Executive Director at KinderCare Learning Center, I had the opportunity to work with Ms. K in a professional setting as well. She served as a consultant at my center, focusing on health, wellness, and safety for children. I was so confident in her knowledge and abilities that I referred her to several other locations. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Ms. K both personally and professionally, and I can genuinely say she is someone you can trust with your children. She is nurturing, dependable, knowledgeable, and truly loves what she does. She doesn’t just watch children; she cares for them, teaches them, and makes sure they feel loved and safe. Any family would be lucky to have Ms. K as their nanny. I highly recommend her without hesitation!
