The cost of a night nanny in Bensalem, PA can be influenced by several factors:

  • Experience and Qualifications

Nannies with extensive experience, certifications (e.g., newborn care specialist), or specific training often charge higher rates.

  • Number of Babies

Caring for twins or multiples typically costs more than caring for a single baby due to the increased workload.

  • Hours and Duration

Rates may vary depending on the number of hours per night, the total number of nights required, and whether the arrangement is short-term or long-term.

  • Duties and Responsibilities

Additional responsibilities, such as bottle preparation, light housekeeping, or sleep training, can increase the cost.

  • Time of Year

Demand during peak times, like the holiday season, may drive prices higher.

  • Agency Fees

Hiring through an agency often includes placement fees or additional charges for their services, adding to the overall cost.

  • Overnight Rates vs. Hourly Rates

Some nannies charge a flat overnight rate, while others charge hourly, which can influence costs depending on the length of the shift.

When considering hiring a night nanny in Bensalem, PA, it's advisable to research and interview several night nannies to find one who aligns with your preferences, needs, and budget. During consultations, you can discuss their specific services and pricing structure to ensure you have a clear understanding of what is included and the associated costs. We truly can’t say enough wonderful things about Becky. She was with our family overnight until our son was six weeks old, and was such a special part of those early weeks postpartum. Becky has such a warm, calm, and reassuring presence, and from the beginning she felt like the perfect fit for our family. She was communicative, kind, dependable, and someone we trusted completely with our newborn. Having her in our home always felt easy and natural. I was breastfeeding, and Becky helped me figure out a schedule that allowed me to get longer stretches of sleep while still keeping up with feeding and pumping. She would bag and store my milk, take care of my pump parts, and handle all of those little overnight tasks so I could get back to sleep as quickly as possible. Having that extra rest made such a difference in helping me recover and feel more like myself during those first several weeks postpartum. More than anything, Becky genuinely cared for our whole family. Our son loved her, our toddler loved her, and we always felt completely comfortable knowing our baby was in her care. She became such a seamless part of our family during a really special and vulnerable time. We were so sad when our time with her came to an end at six weeks, and we truly miss having her here every day. We feel incredibly lucky that Becky was part of our son’s first weeks and would recommend her wholeheartedly to any family looking for warm, trustworthy, and compassionate postpartum support.

Gabrielle Ardolino Popular: among the most-viewed doulas in New York, last 60 days

Hello! I’m Gabrielle. A little bit about me and what sets me apart: I am an Ayurvedic birth and postpartum doula, an Holistic Pregnancy and Birth Practitioner (HPBP), and I am in my final year of a Master of Science degree in Integrative Medicine and Ayurveda Health. And, aside from all of that, I have been a career nanny for over a decade with experience working with moms and postpartum. My knowledge of this ancient wisdom of Ayurveda allows me to bring a unique approach to your postpartum by focusing on nourishment, healing, rest, + bonding. My focus is to hold you so you can hold your baby. As we enter into this sacred journey together, know that my intention during every stage is done with the utmost reverence and respect for the art of bringing new life into the world, and I am merely a bystander in your new journey to motherhood. I am so looking forward to serving you.

Could not have went through labor/delivery and early postpartum days without gab. As a FTM going through a journey i didn’t know anything about having gab by my side made me calmer, more informed and eased my anxiety. She walked me through birth plans, dealing with the contractions, helped me latch babygirl from the moment she was out. Between the post partum massage/belly binding, just teaching me how to wrap my baby, how to properly feed her, and coming over just to talk through my post partum feelings, I truly could not have done this without her!!

Hi New Parents & Returning Parents, My name is Anjanette Rebecca. I’m birth obsessed & I finally have the courage to admit it. I’m a little of a lot of things. I’m a full spectrum doula who supports families and individuals across all walks of life. From zygote to 130 years old. Reproductive health is who I am. Bodily autonomy is what I’ve supported since I was a child. I stepped into my mother’s shoes at an early age. My mother was the original reproductive health guru. My mom passed away before I had time to say goodbye. Grief became the catalyst that changed my life for the best. I meet Individuals and families that are kind enough to trust me with something so sacred. That will always be one of the biggest blessing in my life. I’ve cared for thousands of clients locally & internationally. My ultimate goal is YOU. Your family, your very valid fears, your tears & your happiness. I guide expectant families and individuals in embodying their role as the first teacher in their children’s life. Our body is our children’s first home, it will and always should be respected. Dads, that includes you. Your little one finds comfort in your presence before they’re even born. Your voice and kisses will be one of your child’s favorite things. My business & my baby, Birth & Beyond, NYC is an extension of my family; fellow educators like myself, with a combined 206 years of supporting vulnerable populations in New York City. In October 2026, I will celebrate 26 years in the healthcare industry, 18 years as a registered nurse. It’s an honor to be a part of birth, an intimate time for families to come together. I navigated my first pregnancy alone-there’s so much power in being a single parent too. I’m here to hold individuals & families through one of the most breathtaking and potentially chaotic moments of their lives. Parenthood is a massive upgrade and a heroic space to hold. Please don’t let the internet scare you. It scares me! But we have access to so much information. It is normal to feel overwhelmed by it. I pray that you enter pregnancy & your birth space with confidence. Tap me in if you need someone to kick the door off its hinges, metaphorically speaking of course :) As for me, I’m a Brooklyn native, currently enjoying life in Staten Island, NY. I spend most my time having juicy conversations, tending to 179 indoor plants, barefoot & not pregnant :) I spend time off social media, reading books and finding myself in nature. Currently a scuba diver who tried free diving for the first time in 2025. I’ve swam with sharks & I'm here to tell the story. Background: I offer virtual birth & postpartum doula support, Lamaze childbirth ed, Spinning Babies classes, babywearing education, prenatal & postpartum mental health assessments & continued support, trauma informed & culturally aware care, placenta encapsulation, somatic music therapy, reiki & early intervention referrals. I am a mama of 2 (of the best children), my womb held three. My arms held 2 older children too. At 24 years old I was in charge of a 6 person household & I pray I will never see math homework again. I began my second degree in nursing 6 months after having my son. My rainbow baby. With struggle comes expansive gains. My Roles Former sole NICU Care Manager, Emblem Full spectrum doula (preconception through menopause) Birth assistant Advanced NRP Provider Advanced training in grief & loss Somatic Wellness Practitioner Trauma Informed Care Provider Registered Nurse Psychiatry, Oncology, TBI, Palliative Care, Hospice, Advanced Cardiopulmonary/Intermediate Care Feel free to connect with me or visit my website to learn more. ————————————————————- Giving birth takes a woman's deepest fears about herself and shows her that she is stronger than them. -Unknown

Clarissa Alves

Bangor, Pennsylvania 3 years of experience

Clarissa Alves

Packages from $1,300 · $30/hr

I’m Clarissa Alves, a certified doula and the person behind Mooncradle Matrescence. My work is rooted in bodily autonomy, informed consent, reproductive justice, and the belief that every family deserves to be heard, respected, and supported without judgment. As an Afro-Indigenous mother born and raised in the Bronx, I know that navigating maternal healthcare as a person of color can come with its own challenges. Too often, people are dismissed, their instincts are questioned, and normal experiences are treated like problems that need to be fixed. That’s a big part of why I do this work. I want families to know their rights, understand their options, and feel empowered to make decisions about their own bodies and their own births. For me, birth work also means challenging the systems and beliefs that have shaped the way we approach pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care. I believe in decolonizing birth, honoring ancestral wisdom, and making room for evidence based care without losing sight of the person at the center of it all. Our ancestors have always had knowledge worth honoring, and families deserve care that respects both that wisdom and their individual needs. I don’t believe there is one right way to give birth. An unmedicated birth, a cesarean, a VBAC, or a birth that looks nothing like someone planned all deserve the same respect. My job isn’t to push my beliefs onto anyone or decide what their birth should look like. It’s to provide honest education, help families understand their choices, advocate for their autonomy, and stand beside them through whatever their journey looks like, including the parts that come after birth. At Mooncradle Matrescence, I want families to feel safe enough to ask questions, speak up, change their minds, and trust themselves. You deserve to be treated like a person, not a problem to manage. You deserve to have your voice heard, your boundaries respected, and your choices honored. That’s the kind of care I believe in, and that’s the kind of care I’m here to provide.

Having Clarissa as my doula was truly a once in a lifetime experience! Straight from the beginning, she was there for me throughout my entire pregnancy. Whatever questions I had, she helped me answer. She also helped me create a personalized birth plan step by step. When my water broke, I called her immediately and she was on her way. She showed up with things to decorate my hospital room, as well as pain management items, and a peanut & labor ball. Ambient lighting, oil diffuser, and words of affirmation on cards. These things really helped set the tone for my whole labor. As I progressed, I got good use out of all the pain relief items Clarissa brought. My personal favorite was the TENS machine and comb. Clarissa also made sure to advocate for my wants, needs, and rights as a patient. This truly meant a lot to me, as I feared a hospital birth due to hearing about mistreatment of new mothers who aren’t fully aware of their rights. As I started experiencing more intense pain, Clarissa jumped into action to help with pressure points and positioning my body in a way to ease pain. She helped me with breathing techniques and ways to move my hip on the birthing ball she brought along. All of these things made such a tremendous impact on how beautiful my whole experience was. Clarissa was right there squeezing my hand tight, holding my leg, and cheering me along so I knew I was able to do this. That was the strength I needed. Finally, my daughter was born! Clarissa made sure I got immediate skin-to-skin and a good deep latch to kick off my breastfeeding journey. We both laughed and cried when my daughter came out, it was truly one of the most beautiful experiences I’ve ever had! Throughout my postpartum weeks, Clarissa made sure to check in with me daily as she did when I was pregnant to assure I was doing okay, and to answer any general questions I had about breastfeeding, postpartum care, and being a new mom in general! All her advice was so helpful. Choosing Clarissa as my doula was one of the best decisions I could have made. If you want an individualized experience with someone who is passionate about helping moms, Clarissa is the perfect person for that!
