How Much Does a Birth or Postpartum Doula Cost in Blaine, MN?

I am a South Minneapolis-based birth doula and massage therapist. I have been a bodyworker for eight years, and co-own Total Solace Massage in Uptown, Minneapolis. I have attended trainings by DONA (2018) and Community Aware Birthworker (2024). My approach to birth is open-minded. I believe my role is to help you have the right experience for you, to make sure you know what options you have, and then help you navigate whatever is in the cards. Regardless of your birthing wishes, I bring my grounded, dedicated presence to my clients before, during and after the birthing time. Much of my life orbits care-work, especially through building strong community connections and supporting human bodies as they navigate change. Outside of birth and bodywork, I train in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, I’m slowly learning to bake bread, and I am trying to befriend the neighborhood crows.

Hi there! I'm a bebo mia trained full spectrum doula, specializing in fertility and birth support. I have a background in software development and management, spending over seven years working in the corporate world. Problem solving, research, planning and teaching others are some of my favorite things - I can't wait to help you! My own conception and birth stories are what lead me to become a doula. Feeling the difference in support level that comes from hiring a doula firsthand, I can truly say that no one should have to go without. My births were also vastly different, so in addition to training I also have first hand experiences in both medicated and unmedicated birth, inductions and waterbirth.

As a parent myself, I know how overwhelming it can be to navigate pregnancy, birth, and parenting. My goal is always to help you fully understand your options, confidently make your choice, and effectively communicate your needs to those around you. I believe that the development of these self-advocacy skills will serve you for the rest of your life. Hi, I'm Eleanor Trenary. I believe that all expectant parents deserve an empowered birthing experience. No matter how you give birth, you should feel like you understand your options and are respected, supported, and cared for throughout your birthing journey. I am a mom with a lifelong passion for reproductive rights and gender equity, and have enjoyed being an advocate in many different settings. As my friends started having kids, and I went through my own pregnancy and birthing journey, I realized the powerful role that doulas play and the benefit of having continuous support for birthing people and their partners. I started reading and learning more about birth, taking childbirth education classes, and eventually completed full Doula and Lactation training with Community Aware Birthworker. When I’m not doula-ing, you can find me hiking, drinking tea, knitting, and soaking up snuggles with my husband and son. My first career is in public policy and I currently work as an environmental lobbyist. I graduated from Macalester College and have a Masters in Public Affairs from Indiana University.

Hi families! My name is Lillian, and I would love to be your birth doula and/or night nanny! I have been professionally trained by Dr. Robin Elise Weiss through DONA International and have been working with babies and in childcare for 5+ years. I am so excited to begin this incredible journey with you. I have always been passionate about working with families and babies in whatever capacity I could, and I aspire to be a midwife and eventually own/run a birth center focusing on holistic care. I strongly believe that birth is a beautiful, natural process that a woman’s body was made to do and that you, as the birthing person, are wholly capable of bringing your baby into the world. So, my goal is to support you in doing that however you may need! I have always been told that I have a very calming presence, even by strangers and those who don’t know I am in birth work, and I plan to bring that to every birth I attend, along with my active listening skills, assurance, and knowledge. Hi, I'm Rachel (she/her)! I am a certified doula through Community Aware Birthworker, trained as a Full Spectrum Doula through Birthing Advocacy Doula Trainings, and a trained HypnoDoula through Hypnobabies®. It is important to me to continually learn and grow as I support families with evidence-based information so that they can make the best decisions for themselves and their families. As a Full Spectrum Doula, I strive to help pregnant people and their families feel respected, informed, heard, and held as they navigate life changes in the prenatal, birth, and postpartum experiences. I believe that all pregnant people have an innate power and inner knowing that is revealed through the birthing process. My role is to support birthing people (and their support person), whether that’s physically holding hips or emotionally holding space.

Rhonda is a birth doula, childbirth educator, doula trainer & mentor, BIPOC birthworker connector and pelvic steam facilitator. She refers to herself as a lactation champion because of her passion for helping families feed their babies. Serving families in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, Rhonda loves helping parents realize their strength and ability. It is her desire to help families understand their rights and options so they feel empowered to advocate for themselves. Before entering birth work, she spent two decades working to support healthy families. Her career has included working as an after-school program director, healthy relationships/sexual health educator, community connector for an elementary school, homeless shelter co-facilitator and leading teen mission trips.

I am 21 years old and I am also married with 2 wonderful children! I had a doula for my first birth and I've never felt so secure. I had someone who had me, my boundaries and wants in mind. I never knew what i wanted to do as a career and after that whole experience I knew exactly what i wanted to do. Birth is such a vulnerable process and emotions are high. I am a certified childbirth educator, a certified massage therapist, and trained doula. Before stepping into postpartum work, I spent over ten years as a professional nanny, caring for primarily newborns, infants and, toddlers. I also have experience with overnight newborn care. My goal is to support families in whatever way they need. Whether that’s helping with newborn care, sibling integration, animal support, breastfeeding guidance, or giving mom time to rest, bond, or just breathe—I’m here for it. I also assist with light household tasks like meal prep, errands, laundry, light cleaning, and organizing to help make your home feel calmer and more manageable. I have always been drawn to newborns, infants, children of all ages, and their families. There is a richness in family life that always brings about such a great sense of wonder and awe. There is a way a baby or toddler looks back at you and you know they don’t care what color your hair is, how many wrinkles you have, if you are overweight, underweight, or have zero sense of style. They just know how to LOVE. It is that unconditional love and trust in a baby’s eyes that instilled a strong desire in my heart to protect this innocence and trust by providing families with care providers they could trust. I’m Paige and I’m a mom of 3. I spent most of my young adult life working with people with developmental disabilities. After that, I received my Sign Language Interpreting degree from Saint Paul College and worked with Deaf/Hard of Hearing folks before becoming a stay-at-home mom. I have spent the last several years raising my kids. It hasn’t always been easy, but it’s my favorite job yet! Now it’s time for me to do what I really love: postpartum work! I have always been passionate about families, pregnancy, birth, babies, and postpartum. Parents deserve so much more support and education as they are growing their families. Many people tend to focus only on pregnancy and preparing for birth, but they don’t spend time preparing for postpartum. My goal is to help families be more prepared and supported for all that comes when adding a new baby to the family. I want families to have a smoother and more peaceful postpartum experience. I am based out of South Saint Paul, Minnesota and am currently serving the greater Twin Cities area.
