Siedah Israel

Hi, I’m Siedah Israel, a Certified Labor Doula, Holistic Wellness Practitioner, and Certified Herbalist based in Fredericksburg in Spotsylvania County, Virginia. I’m a wife of 15 years and a homeschooling mother of five. My wellness and birth advocacy journey began with earning a certificate in Massage Therapy from Eastern Virginia Career College in 2018. I later completed my Doula Certification through Germanna Community College in 2024 and graduated with honors in Herbal Studies from the American College of Healthcare Sciences in 2025. I am currently in Phase I of the PEP process as I work toward becoming a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM). I have extensive experience supporting families through hospital births, birth center births, and home births. Personally, I have experienced three hospital births and two home births, which deeply informs the care, perspective, and support I offer to the families I serve. When I’m not supporting families, I enjoy homeschooling, spending time outdoors with my children, writing poetry, working on my werewolf novel, and handcrafting natural hair and skincare products. It is a true honor to walk alongside families with compassion, cultural awareness, and grounded support during such a sacred season of life.

I truly do not know what I would have done without Siedah, and I believe I amucky to have found her for my second birth. As someone who has gone through a traumatic birth experience my first pregnancy, I knew I needed some additional support outside of my husband. But, let's talk about the process even before birth. Months before giving birth, Siedah reminded me and helped me re-process my trauma. Made me really think about how I wanted things to go this time around. To make me confident as well in asking questions about my care and babies care. I feel like that was a huge part in the success of my second birth experience. Fast forward to the actual birth, Siedah asked all the healthcare staff the right questions, or had them re-explain what was going on. I did have to be induced as I had pre-eclampsia. Everything went so smooth, it was exactly how I imagined it. Not to mention how fast it all went too! Siedah has such a big heart, and you can tell she truly cares about you; wants what is best for you too! She treats you like family, and reminds you to choose yourself which can be hard sometimes to remember when you're a mom. You won't regret having her by your side.

As a first time mom there was so much to learn and understand, but working with Inga made it flawless for my Husband and I to prepare for our little one and with the Lords help! We would have not known what to do if we didn’t have Inga’s help! The breathing techniques are superb it works and it helps! I was able to breathe through pitocin with no medication up to level 14, and even after having to get an epidural that suddenly stopped working completely. I was back to feeling the pain from the pitocin on full blast and in transition all I could do was call on Jesus through the breathing techniques Inga has demonstrated for us. We highly recommend Inga her determination, commitment, compassion, and kindness, knowledge, and wisdom is what a family needs during preparing for as she would say “the ride of your life” because that’s exactly what it is and then it’s a bliss of pure love. Overall our birth experience was worth it and we would do it all over again especially with the help of Inga. We couldn’t thank you enough Inga you are truly blessed with a gift and we thank you for allowing us to receive it!

Siedah listened to me, and that made all the difference. I don’t think I could’ve had the natural birth I did without her encouraging me every step. She is very comforting, down to earth, and knowledgeable.

— Amber R., review of Siedah Israel May 2026

From the very beginning, Siedah stood out among all the doulas I interviewed. She was the one I resonated with the most because of how genuine and honest she was about herself, her approach, and her passion for natural medicine and birth. That authenticity made it easy to trust her with such an important journey. She was also such a joyous part of my entire pregnancy experience—bringing positive energy, reassurance, and warmth every step of the way. Throughout my entire pregnancy, Siedah was incredibly attentive and supportive. She was always available via text whenever I had questions, concerns, or just needed reassurance. That level of consistency and care meant everything to me. My labor experience lasted over 48 hours, and Siedah was truly by my side the entire time. She knew exactly when to be gentle and when to be firm—pushing me when I needed that extra strength and encouragement to keep going. She fully supported my birth plan and made sure I was able to advocate for everything I wanted during both my birth and postpartum experience. Even though my labor didn’t go exactly how I planned, Siedah remained a steady presence. She helped me navigate unexpected decisions with clarity and confidence, always prioritizing the health and safety of both me and my baby. I never felt alone or unsure with her there. Even after giving birth, her support didn’t stop. She continued to check in and be there for me during postpartum, which meant so much. What started as a professional relationship turned into a genuine friendship, and I’m forever grateful for her. Siedah is truly amazing, and I couldn’t have asked for a better doula.
