I recently became a mother in 2020 and to be honest, I didn’t have a great birth experience. Which is pretty normal. Until I learned that it didn’t have to be this way, which inspired my passion for birth work. I want birthing people to be empowered in their births and have the best experience possible. I am also a Lamaze-trained Childbirth Educator, currently in the process of recertification, and I teach childbirth education, newborn care, and infant feeding to help families feel informed and confident as they step into parenthood. I am also deepening my expertise by studying to become a Lactation Counselor through Childbirth International, because I believe that support doesn't end at birth. It's just the beginning.
