The cost of a night nanny in Charlottesville, VA can be influenced by several factors:

  • Experience and Qualifications

Nannies with extensive experience, certifications (e.g., newborn care specialist), or specific training often charge higher rates.

  • Number of Babies

Caring for twins or multiples typically costs more than caring for a single baby due to the increased workload.

  • Hours and Duration

Rates may vary depending on the number of hours per night, the total number of nights required, and whether the arrangement is short-term or long-term.

  • Duties and Responsibilities

Additional responsibilities, such as bottle preparation, light housekeeping, or sleep training, can increase the cost.

  • Time of Year

Demand during peak times, like the holiday season, may drive prices higher.

  • Agency Fees

Hiring through an agency often includes placement fees or additional charges for their services, adding to the overall cost.

  • Overnight Rates vs. Hourly Rates

Some nannies charge a flat overnight rate, while others charge hourly, which can influence costs depending on the length of the shift.

When considering hiring a night nanny in Charlottesville, VA, it's advisable to research and interview several night nannies to find one who aligns with your preferences, needs, and budget. During consultations, you can discuss their specific services and pricing structure to ensure you have a clear understanding of what is included and the associated costs. This process will help you find a night nanny who meets your needs and fits within your budget.

☀️Hey everyone!☀️ 💗My name is Yasmine. I am a certified birth and postpartum doula who’s also completed a birth/ midwives assistant training. 💌I became doula as my love for birth began as a child. I grew up in a large family and loved watching it grow with more babies. When I had my daughter, I was on Medicaid and wanted someone personal to help guide me through birth and labor. I did not know what a doula was exactly at that time. When I got pregnant with my son, I found myself being a doula for friends and mutual friends of mine virtually(due to Covid). It was not until my doula training that I learned Medicaid covers doulas. I then took the steps to become VA state certified and accept VA Medicaid. 🎯My goal is to provide quality, compassionate, empathetic, evidence based support to women who are more likely to get taken advantage of and neglected. As a woman of color, I know what it is like to feel dismissed and talked down to by the birth team/ healthcare system. I want to help you have the tools and confidence in your informed decisions. We absolutely love Yasmine! She was very helpful throughout my whole pregnancy. I could reach out to her at any time of the day about any concern or questions I had. From the first time we met we just clicked, She is so easy to talk to! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a Doula. She will also be one of the first people I reach out to if we are ever expecting a baby again!

Hi, I’m Siedah Israel, a Certified Labor Doula, Holistic Wellness Practitioner, and Certified Herbalist based in Fredericksburg in Spotsylvania County, Virginia. I’m a wife of 15 years and a homeschooling mother of five. My wellness and birth advocacy journey began with earning a certificate in Massage Therapy from Eastern Virginia Career College in 2018. I later completed my Doula Certification through Germanna Community College in 2024 and graduated with honors in Herbal Studies from the American College of Healthcare Sciences in 2025. I am currently in Phase I of the PEP process as I work toward becoming a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM). I have extensive experience supporting families through hospital births, birth center births, and home births. Personally, I have experienced three hospital births and two home births, which deeply informs the care, perspective, and support I offer to the families I serve. When I’m not supporting families, I enjoy homeschooling, spending time outdoors with my children, writing poetry, working on my werewolf novel, and handcrafting natural hair and skincare products. It is a true honor to walk alongside families with compassion, cultural awareness, and grounded support during such a sacred season of life.

I truly do not know what I would have done without Siedah, and I believe I amucky to have found her for my second birth. As someone who has gone through a traumatic birth experience my first pregnancy, I knew I needed some additional support outside of my husband. But, let's talk about the process even before birth. Months before giving birth, Siedah reminded me and helped me re-process my trauma. Made me really think about how I wanted things to go this time around. To make me confident as well in asking questions about my care and babies care. I feel like that was a huge part in the success of my second birth experience. Fast forward to the actual birth, Siedah asked all the healthcare staff the right questions, or had them re-explain what was going on. I did have to be induced as I had pre-eclampsia. Everything went so smooth, it was exactly how I imagined it. Not to mention how fast it all went too! Siedah has such a big heart, and you can tell she truly cares about you; wants what is best for you too! She treats you like family, and reminds you to choose yourself which can be hard sometimes to remember when you're a mom. You won't regret having her by your side.

Kylie Ramos

Hi, I’m Kylie! I’m a certified fertility and postpartum doula and health coach, passionate about supporting women through the seasons of preconception, pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood. I believe women deserve care that looks beyond a single symptom or season. Our hormones, nutrition, sleep, stress, mental and emotional wellbeing, relationships, faith, and daily rhythms are all connected—and caring for the whole woman can make such a meaningful difference in how she feels and functions. Through my health coaching work, I help women better understand their bodies and build realistic, sustainable habits that support their health and wellbeing. My approach is practical, compassionate, and rooted in evidence-based education, while honoring each woman’s unique needs, values, and circumstances. My fertility work focuses on helping women prepare for pregnancy and better understand and support their reproductive health. My postpartum work centers on the transition into motherhood—supporting recovery, nourishment, energy, emotional wellbeing, healthy routines, and the many changes that come with caring for yourself while caring for a little one. As a follower of Jesus, my faith is the foundation of how I love and serve others. I strive to create a peaceful, judgment-free space where women feel seen, encouraged, and equipped. If desired, I’m also happy to pray with and for the women and families I serve. Whether you’re preparing for pregnancy, navigating postpartum, or simply wanting to feel more at home in your body and health, it would be an honor to walk alongside you.

Morgan Bradbury

Packages from $1,500 · $40/hr

Hi, I’m Morgan, a birth doula with a deep passion for supporting women through the sacred and powerful journey of pregnancy and birth. Outside of birth work, you can often find me hiking, camping, traveling, walking my two corgis, reading, spending time with my husband and son, or serving my church and local community. My heart for women’s health began during my very first OB/GYN appointment as a teenager, when I had to navigate a complicated diagnosis and a series of confusing and often scary interactions with specialists. Years later, after facing complications during the birth of my son, my passion for informed care and patient advocacy only grew stronger. That experience not only taught me the importance of understanding my health and my options, but it also deepened my trust in the Lord. Through it all, my faith grew as I leaned into His strength during a season full of unknowns. Since then, I’ve become deeply committed to helping women feel informed, empowered, and supported throughout their reproductive journeys. My journey led me to work on a research team developing an intrauterine balloon stent to help treat Asherman’s Syndrome—a role that involved shadowing OB/GYNs and midwives and sparked a deeper appreciation for the science behind pregnancy and birth. I truly believe that birth is not only fascinating from a medical standpoint, but also incredibly beautiful and sacred. Today, I feel called to walk alongside women in their most vulnerable and transformative moments—offering education, advocacy, and unwavering support as they step into motherhood.
