Hi! My name is Eleanor and I'm a birth doula excited to support you. I'm passionate about patient advocacy, making sure your needs are heard, and providing evidence-based information and support throughout pregnancy and labor.

Being a nanny, especially one who works with infants, is a privilege that I do not take lightly and I appreciate the chance to support families during this big change. Across my almost 10-year career, I have worked full-time in a daycare center and six private homes, primarily with newborns and toddlers. I find joy in creating spaces that engage my little ones, planning activities that incorporate all areas of children's development, and seeing the outcomes of those efforts. Outside of the traditional nanny role, I received my birth and post-partum certifications from DONA International in 2021. With experience as a Doula and Prenatal Coordinator at Community Healthcare Network, she has provided comprehensive support to individuals through prenatal care, birth preparation, postpartum and lactation assistance. Alondra has further enriched her expertise through work with Public Health Solutions, honing her skills in community-centered care. Drawing from her Salvadoran and Dominican roots, Alondra takes a holistic approach, focusing on nurturing the mind, body, and spirit throughout the reproductive and parenting journey. Alondra welcomed her first child in Boston, Massachusetts were she transition into full time doula work.

As a doula, I’ve had the privilege of supporting families through a wide variety of birth experiences, including inductions, unmedicated and medicated births, cesarean births, VBAC/TOLAC, and high-risk pregnancies. I especially enjoy working with Spanish-speaking families and helping bridge language and communication gaps so that they feel heard, understood, and actively involved in their care. I wanted to be become a doula because birth is a life-changing experience and all women deserve to have the opportunity to be given that extra support they might have needed or wanted. As well as being a birth doula, I am also training to be a postpartum doula, because I believe that care and support is needed not only during pregnancy and birth but once the baby is born as well!
