We're looking for a postpartum doula to support both Mom and our 8-week-old baby as we establish routines and transition toward a longer-term nanny. Mom is 39, and our primary goal is to give her dedicated time to rest, shower, eat, or simply recharge while knowing our son is in experienced, caring hands. Our insurance covers a limited number of postpartum doula visits, but if we're a good fit, we'd also be interested in continuing with private pay at approximately $30–35/hour for 2–3 visits per week of up to 4 hours each. We're looking for someone who: Has at least 5 years of experience caring for newborns. Is fully vaccinated and a non-smoker. Is certified in infant CPR/First Aid. Is knowledgeable about paced bottle feeding, current safe sleep practices, and supporting breastfeeding families. Is comfortable following our parenting preferences and working collaboratively with us. When the baby is settled, we'd greatly appreciate light household support related to caring for our family, such as washing bottles and pump parts, folding laundry, tidying baby areas, simple meal prep, or other light household tasks. We're hoping to find someone who is calm, experienced, dependable, and compassionate—someone who can confidently care for our baby while also helping Mom feel supported during this stage.
