Hello! My name is Annie. I am a DONA certified birth doula with a foundation in Spinning Babies techniques, proudly serving families throughout the SoCal area, with a deep passion for supporting women through one of the most transformative experiences of their lives. As a mother of four, I bring both personal and professional experience to my work, offering compassionate, nonjudgmental support throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. My background as a personal trainer with a specialty in perinatal exercise, combined with my work as a health coach, allows me to support my clients holistically, physically, mentally, and emotionally. I believe that preparation and education are powerful tools, and I strive to help every woman feel informed, confident, and connected to her body throughout her journey. I am deeply committed to advocating for the women I serve. My goal is to help you feel seen, heard, and empowered as you make decisions that align with your values and vision for your birth. Whether you desire a calm, supported labor, guidance through the unknown, or reassurance in your strength, I am honored to walk alongside you. Every birth is unique, and it is my mission to help you approach yours feeling confident, focused, educated, and empowered.

I loved having Annie as my doula! As a first time mom, I had a lot of questions regarding my health and how to prepare for labor and delivery. Annie took her time to meet with me multiple times, and would make herself available to me for phone calls for random questions I had. She really gave me peace of mind having someone to talk to that is experienced in pregnancy and birth. I also had gestational diabetes and lots of pelvic pain during my pregnancy, and Annie's knowledge in physical training helped me so much to know what exercises to do for both conditions. She met with my husband and I to prepare us for labor, and coach him on what he could do to alleviate my pain. During labor and delivery she was readily available and now I have a beautiful healthy baby girl!

Hi! I’m Liz Alleva, founder of HypnoBirthing Mommy and a certified HypnoBirthing® International Childbirth Educator based in Wilton, Connecticut. I offer private classes in person and virtually throughout the USA and Canada. My passion for this work began with the birth of my son, Mason. Experiencing how preparation, relaxation, and support shaped my own birth inspired me to help other families feel informed, calm, and confident. Before becoming a childbirth educator, I spent 15 years teaching dance in public schools. I studied Dance and Sociology at Wesleyan University and earned my master’s in Dance Education at NYU. That background brings a love of movement, body awareness, and teaching to everything I do. My classes are relaxed and conversational—a welcoming space where no question is silly. We practice breathing, self-hypnosis, relaxation, and partner support, while exploring your options and what matters most to you. Whether you’re planning a hospital, birth center, or home birth, with or without medication, your preferences guide our work together. Mason is still part of the heart of my business. He helps me put together the supplies and little extras we send to families—a personal touch that makes this work even more special to me. My goal is for you to feel heard, supported, and prepared, with practical tools you can carry into birth and parenthood. 💛

We used Liz's services in early 2026 as we prepared to welcome our first child. Both my spouse and I participated via Zoom from Canada. Of the entire pregnancy/newborn journey, I was most nervous for the delivery. I was clear about wanting to do it unmedicated and with as few medical interventions as possible, although we were having our birth in the hospital. The mental preparation that Liz provided gave us both the confidence that resulted in a nearly perfect birth experience. Two hours on two separate occasions with Liz, plus the homework and the bundle of goodies (including the hypnobirthing book) she and her son Mason sent by mail, was all we needed. Even if you don't use 100% of the hypnobirthing techniques, the skills will help you build confidence to face whatever comes in the birthing process. Would highly recommend taking the course with Liz.

After feeling dismissed and intimidated into making decisions against my better judgment during my first birth, I knew I wanted a different experience the second time and specifically sought out advocacy--hiring Britt as my doula was one of the best decisions I made. From the beginning, she was incredibly relatable and easy to talk to, taking the time to truly understand my preferences, concerns, and goals. Her background as a former high-risk RN, combined with her doula training, gave me so much confidence. She explained things clearly, helped me make informed decisions, and always made sure I felt heard and respected. No matter what questions or worries I had, she met them with patience and reassurance. Even though my birth didn't go as planned and ended in an unplanned C-section, Britt's support never wavered. She was a steady, calming presence throughout and helped me feel empowered and cared for every step of the way. I'm so grateful for her support and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly supportive doula. During such a vulnerable time where appointments can feel impersonal and too "routine", it was such a blessing to feel/know that someone really genuinely cared about me, my pregnancy and by baby!

Nurture The Divine is rooted in serving and empowering women to achieve the birth experience of their dreams. There is so much transformation that occurs during all 4 trimesters of pregnancy and it’s important for women to feel understood, heard, and validated during this sacred time. My doula approach encompasses physical, emotional, educational, and energetic support in a warm and loving space. My goal is to bring truly comprehensive, safe, healing, and whole-hearted doula care to all the beautiful families that I am blessed to interact with. I truly believe there is immense value in providing a safe space for the divine feminine to shine. Even in rare cases when medical interventions are necessary for the safety of mom and baby, the sacred nature of birth can still be preserved.

I don't even know where to start. I am almost 3 weeks postpartum and have been heavily reflecting on my pregnancy, labor, and delivery as a first-time mom. I matched with Kalista when I was about 20 weeks pregnant. The kindness, support, and education provided by Kalista from day 1 has made the entire experience incredibly memorable. My plan was to have an unmedicated birth, but complications along the way forced an induction and an epidural. My body continued to struggle to dilate, which caused a very uncomfortable, prolonged labor. There were many moments of feeling very challenged and overwhelmed. Kalista stayed by my side in the hospital the entire time, as soon as I was admitted. Kalista provided ambient lighting, meditation music, electrolytes, stress tools (ball and labor comb), suggested positions to try during contractions, and massaged my legs during the most intense times. One of the most memorable things I will always remember during my labor and delivery was her soft, kind words of encouragement during painful moments and during my actual delivery. I honestly can say that I wouldn't have been able to overcome the challenges without her and my fiance by my side. I was hard on myself when the turn of events changed my birth plan. Kalista made my fiance and I feel comfortable and confident that we could overcome it all and still have a positive delivery. When I look back on everything, I can honestly say that I will miss the entire experience and parts of me wish that it wasn't over. If I ever have another baby, I hope that Kalista is available again to help me have another positive birth experience. We are so grateful for her!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Becky with Birth to Latch has been absolutely amazing. Our experience with her has brought us so much peace, confidence, and excitement as we prepare to welcome our first baby. Going into this pregnancy, we had no real guidance on what to expect during labor and birth. As a first-time father, I honestly wasn’t sure what my role would be or how I could best support my wife. After attending Becky’s Comfort Measures class, everything changed. I walked away with a clear understanding of my role as a husband and father during labor, along with practical tools and the confidence to be the support my wife deserves. What makes Becky so special is her warmth and kindness. She creates such a safe, welcoming environment that it genuinely feels like you’re learning from a trusted family member rather than someone you just met. She has a gift for making everyone feel comfortable, heard, and empowered. I especially appreciate that Becky doesn’t just focus on preparing moms she places just as much importance on educating and empowering the birth partner. That made a huge difference for us and strengthened our confidence as a team going into this life-changing experience. If you’re looking for a doula who is knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly invested in helping both parents feel prepared, I cannot recommend Becky and Birth to Latch enough. We are incredibly grateful to have her as part of our birth journey.

We hired Ms. Veronica as a night doula and newborn care specialist for our two daughters. We first reached out to Ms. Veronica before the birth of our first daughter and worked with her during those early months, then again when she traveled with us for the birth of our second daughter, when we hired her as our Traveling Doula. We highly recommend her as a doula in any capacity. As we were getting ready and preparing for the arrival of our first baby, we learned about the classes Ms. Veronica offers as a New Parent Educator. We decided to take three private one-on-one classes with her, including her One-on-One Newborn Care Class and New Daddy Doula Class. These sessions gave both of us the opportunity to learn together and prepare for what to expect before bringing our baby home. As first-time parents, having that education and preparation before our daughter's birth was incredibly valuable and helped us feel much more knowledgeable and confident going into parenthood. Her expertise in newborn care was obvious from our very first weeks with her. She shared countless tips we never would have found in a book or online, drawn from her many years of experience. Neither of us had much prior experience raising babies, but we already felt confident after just two meetings with her.We specifically wanted a doula who wouldn't simply take over, but who would guide us so we could continue providing the best care for our children after she was gone. Ms. Veronica was thorough in communicating and explaining her reasoning behind everything she did. She was meticulous about tracking feedings and wet diapers, and always had a plan to keep our babies happy and thriving in their earliest months. We were also impressed by how flexible she was with our dates, since it's notoriously hard to predict when a baby will arrive. This was put to the test when she traveled with us for our second daughter as our Traveling Doula. A situation that normally would have been stressful and exhausting, but she made it far easier to manage. She was also accommodating about adjusting our daily schedule, since we were both still working and not yet on parental leave. The moment we remember most is how she sleep-trained our first daughter. She built a plan and continually adapted it as needed, quickly getting our daughter to 12 hours of sleep through scheduled feedings - a change that gave us both much-needed rest. Even today, our daughter still sleeps 12 hours every night. We honestly believe every parent should have someone like her whether they are first-time parents or need a helping hand. It can feel a little intimidating to have someone new caring for your newborn, but we never once hesitated to trust her. She cares for your baby as if it were her own, while setting you up for success as first-time parents.

Hello, I’m Kathy, and I’m honored to walk alongside families as they journey into parenthood.** Becoming a mother is one of the most beautiful and life-changing experiences a woman can go through. It can also be overwhelming, emotional, and filled with uncertainty. I believe no mother should have to navigate that journey feeling alone. As a Birth and Postpartum Doula, my heart is in supporting mothers and families through the many transitions that come with pregnancy, birth, and bringing a new baby home. I am here to listen, encourage, reassure, and provide a calm and caring presence when you need it most. My educational background in Psychology, with an emphasis in Family and Marriage Therapy, has deepened my understanding of the emotional and relational changes that can occur during this important season of life. The arrival of a baby changes more than a family’s daily routine—it can change how we see ourselves, how we connect with our partners, and how we navigate our new roles as parents. I bring this understanding into my doula work by creating a safe, compassionate space where mothers and families can feel heard, supported, and understood. During pregnancy and birth, I support you in preparing for the experience you envision while respecting that birth can sometimes take an unexpected path. Whether your birth plan changes or unfolds exactly as you hoped, you deserve to feel informed, respected, and supported. After your baby arrives, my role is to help you find your rhythm as a new family. I provide practical and emotional support as you recover, learn your baby, navigate feeding and newborn care, adjust to new routines, and experience the many emotions that come with motherhood. I believe that caring for the mother is an essential part of caring for the family. My philosophy is simple: I don't believe in telling you how to be a mother. I believe in meeting you where you are, listening to what you need, and walking beside you as you discover your own way. There is no perfect birth, no perfect mother, and no single path into parenthood. There is only "your" journey—and I would be honored to be part of it. My goal is to help you feel seen, heard, supported, and confident as you move from pregnancy to birth and into the beautiful, sometimes messy, and deeply transformative journey of motherhood. You care for so many already. Let me help care for you.l.

I had a wonderful experience with Tremaine. Before hiring her I was very nervous and she helped me prepare for labor mentality, emotionally and physically. My hospital birth was great all thanks to her. She really helped me a lot during labor by using aromatherapy, massage, positive affirmation, and guiding me on movements to help me cope with contractions. After labor she continued checking on me and gave me great advice that helped me heal. I recommend Tremaine because she has very caring, helpful and knowledgeable.

Hi there! Thank you so much for visiting my site and for your interest in my services. I would love to give you a little info about me so you can better understand who I am and how I can help you along your journey in parenthood. After the birth of my first daughter, I realized how underprepared I was for labor. I looked back on my experience unhappy with the things that were ‘done to me,’ rather than being able to make educated decisions based on evidence and my maternal instincts. During my second pregnancy, I knew I wanted to be more prepared and have a completely different birth experience. I did a lot of research on evidence-based practices and created an ideal vision for what I wanted this next birth to look like. After my dream birth, I immediately felt justified for wanting more for myself AND my baby. I had a newfound sense of empowerment as a mother. Ever since, I knew I wanted to be a part of this amazing birth community to help other families feel this same joy. My goal is to provide gentle education, encouragement, and support in whichever ways you need it, while tending to your family’s unique needs during this beautiful time in your life. I am a trained Doula through DONA International. I also have extensive training in childbirth education and breastfeeding support. I welcome all inquiries. Please use my Contact page to send me a message about what you’re looking for and how I can help you. I look forward to speaking with you!

As a first-time dad, I wasn’t totally sure what a doula did—I just knew I wanted my wife to feel supported during labor. What I didn’t expect was how much I would benefit from having her there, too. From the moment we hired Janée, she made both of us feel informed, confident, and ready. She took the time to educate us on the stages of labor, comfort techniques, and what to expect in the hospital. By the time my wife went into labor, I actually felt prepared instead of overwhelmed. During the birth, she was absolutely incredible. She supported my wife emotionally and physically, but she also guided me on how to support her better—whether it was suggesting positions, showing me how to apply counter-pressure, or reassuring me when things got intense. I never once felt useless or in the way. Instead, I felt like an active part of the process, which meant everything to me. She created a calm, encouraging atmosphere the entire time. Anytime we had questions, she explained things clearly and helped us feel comfortable with the decisions we were making. Her presence took so much stress off both of us, allowing me to focus on my wife and stay grounded. Looking back, hiring Janée was one of the best decisions we made. She didn’t just support my wife—she empowered me as a husband and new father. If you’re on the fence, especially as a dad, take it from me: a good doula is worth every bit of it. She made our birth experience something we’ll be grateful for forever.

My husband and I cannot recommend Luz enough! She was with us overnight from the day we came home with our baby boy until he was around 2 months old. We were very nervous to have someone take care of our little one but right from the start Luz put us at ease. She was warm and extremely knowledgeable. This was our first child and Luz educated us on so many things, without her we would not have known where to start. Our son is a very good sleeper and we attribute that starting with Luz. It was clear that she genuinely cared for our son and we will be forever grateful to her. Over 3 years later and she still checks in on us to see how he is doing. We would 1000% hire Luz again and if you do you will not regret it.

Hello Everyone! My name is Donna Moragne-Hanson. I'm a licensed midwife in Los Angeles, CA providing well-woman, pre-conception, prenatal/postpartum midwifery care, childbirth education, lactation support, and doula support from the privacy of my in-home birthing studio. Here you & your family are provided with everything you need for a safe, comfortable and peaceful birth. Receive up to 24 Golden Hours of "Mothering the Mother" & newborn postpartum care as you enjoy 3 homemade meals prepared to restore, center and balance your body before journeying home with your new babe. I offer specialty services such as yoni steams, healing herbal baths, add-on postpartum midwifery care packages and "Closing of the Bones" ceremony which brings spiritual closure to your birth. For me, establishing trust with my client is the most important and fundamental. My practice is built on nurturing trust and learning to let go of the things we allow to interfere with trust. I want to encourage trusting in yourself; trusting in your body (and the natural process of giving birth); trusting in your baby (and their own divinely written birth story); trusting in humanity (and the world your baby is born into) and trusting in our partnership, as client and midwife. I believe, "when a woman is heard, she is seen; when she is seen, she has a voice"; and as her midwife I am compelled to encourage her to honor that voice; her voice. In this way I believe I am blessed with an opportunity to fulfill my role as supporter, facilitator, educator and client advocate; the ultimate calling of a midwife. For me, describing the process of birth is like trying to describe a miracle; and walking with a woman as she becomes a mother is even more profound…I am beyond words. Donna, LM, CPM

Donna gave me the confidence and calm I needed for my first birth. She was there every step of the way to answer all my questions, no matter how silly! My doctor was very impressed with how prepared and informed I was. I would love to work with Donna again.

Hello, I’m Laurie. Natural Childbirth is my Passion!!! Women are far more powerful then they know!!! I am a mom of 4. After having one natural but unpleasant birth. And one Pitocin assisted birth, (which I don't recommend), I decided to try the Bradley method. I now have two Bradley babies. Both were born without any medical interventions or drugs, thanks to the Bradley method. I loved being in control of my labor and having my husband there, supporting me. My classes teach you How to work with your body, not against it. And help your partner to know how to support your laboring needs. So you can work together to get that precious bundle of joy out quicker and with less pain!!!👉YES, it’s possible! 😊 I became a Bradley instructor because I truly believe it works, I know first hand. I truly wouldn't birth any other way. I also love being able to meet all those cute babies. It's such an honor to make an impact in people's lives. By the end of class my students have become my friends and I wouldn't have it any other way. The Bradley method emphasizes that birth is a natural process: mothers are encouraged to trust their body and focus on diet and exercise throughout pregnancy to keep them low risk. It teaches couples to manage labor through relaxation, deep breathing and the support of a partner or labor coach. Bradley Method® classes teach families how to have natural births, by being their our doulas. The techniques are simple, effective, and based on information about how the human body works during labor.

From our very first introductory call, we knew that Gina was the right fit for us. Throughout my pregnancy, Gina’s extensive expertise and knowledge gave my wife and me the structure, tools, and education that made us confident in our decision making and how to ask the right questions of our providers. Using her knowledge of DMV OBGYN practices and hospitals, she helped us make the decision to switch practices at 30 weeks, which was my second best decision during pregnancy, after hiring Gina. When I was admitted to the hospital with severe complications at 34 weeks, she was by our side helping us digest information from multiple nurses and doctors, ask questions, and make the decisions that worked best for my health and our baby. Our beautiful boy was born at almost 35 weeks and after a lengthy hospital stay for me and a week in the NICU for baby, Gina helped us get set up postpartum to best take care of our boy. Before birth I would probably have trusted Gina with my life and during my birth she was a vital resource and partner to me and my wife as we navigated some truly difficult decisions and traumatic circumstances. We will always be deeply grateful to have met Gina and had the pleasure of working with her.
