Hi, I’m Linda. I’m a caring and compassionate doula dedicated to supporting families through every stage of pregnancy, birth, and early infancy. I believe that this journey is not only physical, but deeply emotional and mental as well, and I’m here to walk alongside the parent/parents through it all. I have extensive experience supporting inductions, as well as guiding families through the early days of infancy. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where parents feel heard, informed, and empowered. I’m passionate about helping parents understand their options, build confidence, and feel truly prepared for both birth and the transition into life with a new baby. Whether navigating pregnancy, preparing for labor, or adjusting to infancy, I’m here to offer guidance, encouragement, and education every step of the way as I believe every single parent whether first baby or 7th baby a doula is beneficial and every parent birth or not deserves that guidance.

I truly can’t recommend Linda enough! I hired her around the beginning of my second trimester, and she was such a wonderful source of support throughout the rest of my pregnancy journey. From helping me feel more informed and prepared for birth to answering my questions and talking through my concerns, Linda was always patient, supportive, and reassuring. She helped me better understand my options when it came to labor and delivery, talked with me about comfort and coping techniques, and made sure I felt confident making decisions that were right for me. One of the things I appreciated most was knowing I had someone I could reach out to when I had questions or simply needed reassurance. Pregnancy can come with so many emotions and uncertainties, and having that extra support made such a difference for me. Linda genuinely cares about the moms and families she works with, and I’m so grateful that she was part of my pregnancy journey. If you’re considering having a doula for prenatal, birth, or postpartum support, I absolutely recommend reaching out to her. ❤️

We had an incredible experience with our birth doula, Elizabeth, and cannot recommend her enough. She is truly down to earth, kind, caring, supportive, and knowledgeable. From the very beginning, Elizabeth made herself available by phone, and we always felt comfortable and confident reaching out with questions before labor. Once I went into labor, it was reassuring to notify her and she generously made herself available to support us. During labor, Elizabeth provided amazing emotional support and helped me through some of the rougher contractions with tools and support. She was also a strong advocate and helped guide us through decision making in the labor process. In addition to offering knowledge and guidance, having another familiar, calming face in the room made a huge difference. Elizabeth took the time to really get to know us before labor and followed up with a visit afterward, which meant so much. Having a doula like Elizabeth added an extra layer of support, advocacy, and reassurance that allowed us to feel more grounded, informed, and cared for throughout the entire experience. We truly loved having her as part of our birth and are so grateful for the role she played in it.

Mia became a part of our family shortly after the birth of our second child. Having hired an overnight doula for our first, we knew this time around, with two little ones under two, we’d need even more support. From the moment Mia arrived, she was extraordinary. She intuitively understood the rhythm of our home and our unique challenges. I trusted her completely with my newborn, which allowed me to give my toddler the attention she needed. Mia provided unwavering emotional support and was remarkably proactive, anticipating our needs before we could voice them. She brought calm and clarity during a time when I often felt overwhelmed, almost like the part of my brain that wasn’t functioning in the haze of postpartum. Whether it was preparing nourishing snacks, offering thoughtful breastfeeding support, or simply being a grounding presence, Mia was indispensable. Her presence during those intense early weeks was nothing short of a gift. I could not recommend Mia more highly. - Aisling S.

Caitlin comes to Doula work from a background in theatre and physiology. She had fought to understand her own body as she grew up with Developmental Dyspraxia. However, what she always thought of as her greatest weakness, has turned into her greatest strength over the years. As a child every time Caitlin learned a new physical skill she had to break it down step by step for her brain to fully understand it. This gave her a great understanding of human physiology. She applied this understanding of the human body to help numerous clients while working as a personal trainer at Blink Fitness and New York Sports Club. Throughout her life Caitlin was always struck by the distrust of the human body when it came to birth. She had always been fascinated by/or even in awe of birth. During her own journey to having children she finally realized what she wanted to be when she grew up. A Doula. It combined her deep understanding of physiology with her desire to empower people to trust their own bodies, no matter what the birth plan. Caitlin took her DONA training in summer of 2021 and finished the DONA certification process at the end of 2022. Caitlin already has a wide range of experience when it comes to birth. Areas she experienced with include, home birth, hospital birth, birth center care, unmedicated birth, Hypnobirthing, preeclampsia, planned and emergency C-Section, pregnancy resulting from fertility treatment, induction, married and unmarried partners, interracial couples, parents with disabilities, pregnancy with special diets (Vegan, Gestational Diabetes, Kosher ect.) "My goal as a doula is to facilitate a positive birth experience for the growing family, whatever that birth experience may look like. I am happy to work with families with all different types of birth plans, backgrounds and family preferences. It is my strong belief that a Doula should be accessible to all birthing people regardless of gender, sexuality, race, disability, faith, or socioeconomic background."

I can't say enough great things about Jossy. We hired her as our postpartum doula for the first six weeks following the birth of my son. From the moment I first spoke with her, I was drawn to her easygoing attitude and comforting nature - I spoke with a number of doulas, and Jossy was the one I felt most at ease with. The conversation flowed naturally, and it was immediately clear how much she loves being a doula. Even though Jossy was only helping us with postpartum care, she was so sweet in sending regular check-ins leading up to my due date and giving tips and suggestions for issues I was dealing with. When I first met Jossy in person, I immediately felt completely comfortable around her and felt comfortable having her in our home and with our son. She quickly felt like a friend I could confide in and joke around with, which made all the difference in the first few weeks of postpartum. Jossy was so loving and sweet with our son, and it was so clear that she cared very deeply about his safety, wellbeing and happiness. After our overnights, she was always checking in to see how she was doing and offering ideas and suggestions of things to try with him. No matter how tired she was after back-to-back overnights, Jossy always arrived on time and with a smile. She was also so sweet with our high energy dog. Thank you Jossy for everything (and I wish we could have you to help us forever)!

Hi New Parents & Returning Parents, My name is Anjanette Rebecca. I’m birth obsessed & I finally have the courage to admit it. I’m a little of a lot of things. I’m a full spectrum doula who supports families and individuals across all walks of life. From zygote to 130 years old. Reproductive health is who I am. Bodily autonomy is what I’ve supported since I was a child. I stepped into my mother’s shoes at an early age. My mother was the original reproductive health guru. My mom passed away before I had time to say goodbye. Grief became the catalyst that changed my life for the best. I meet Individuals and families that are kind enough to trust me with something so sacred. That will always be one of the biggest blessing in my life. I’ve cared for thousands of clients locally & internationally. My ultimate goal is YOU. Your family, your very valid fears, your tears & your happiness. I guide expectant families and individuals in embodying their role as the first teacher in their children’s life. Our body is our children’s first home, it will and always should be respected. I’m here to hold individuals & families through one of the most breathtaking and potentially chaotic moments of their lives. Parenthood is a massive upgrade and a heroic space to hold. Please don’t let the internet scare you. It scares me! But we have access to so much information. It is normal to feel overwhelmed by it. I pray that you enter pregnancy & your birth space with confidence. Tap me in if you need someone to kick the door off its hinges, metaphorically speaking of course :) As for me, I’m a Brooklyn native, currently enjoying life in Staten Island, NY. I spend most my time having juicy conversations, tending to 179 indoor plants, barefoot & not pregnant :) I spend time off social media, reading books and finding myself in nature. Hi Everyone, I'm Ashley, a Afro-Dominican & Puerto Rican mother to a 15 year old boy and a Certified Full Spectrum Doula and Lactation Counselor. Throughout my career, I have had the honor of supporting over 55 families and counting during their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey, helping them navigate all the transitions of bringing new life into the world. My passion for supporting families during this transformative time began when I experienced the birth of my own child. I realized the profound impact a skilled and compassionate doula can have on ones birthing experience because although I wasn't able to have a doula for my birth, I was able to teach myself and those supporting me the role of a doula during birth, which allowed me to achieve all of my birth goals. Through this passion, I have dedicated myself to supporting families through their pregnancy, birth and postpartum in a way that is personalized, empowering, and non-judgmental. I believe in creating a safe and nurturing space that allows families to make informed decisions and feel supported throughout their process. My approach is grounded in evidence-based research and tailored to the needs of each family. I provide emotional, physical and advocacy support as well as evidence-based education and access to resources you may need to help encourage a positive and fulfilling birth and postpartum experience. I am committed to continuing my education and professional development to ensure that I am providing the most up-to-date and effective care possible. Whether you're planning a home birth, hospital birth, or a birth center delivery and/or you're just looking for postpartum support, I am here to support you every step of the way. I look forward to the opportunity to help you achieve your ideal birth and postpartum experience.

Having Michelle as part of our birth process was one of the absolute best decisions we made. We really wanted someone who had a deep knowledge and could help prepare us yet also be emotionally / psychologically supportive - and she was incredible. Her calm yet empowering energy, her levelheaded acumen, her kind consideration and openness - she made all the difference not only in the delivery room but before and after as well! Michelle prepared us thoroughly regarding what to expect, provided us lots of 'tools' (i.e. resources, information, exercises, etc) to have in our toolbox, and when things were happening during labor she was a grounding presence able to help ask the right questions, make sure I was approaching things the way I wanted to, and we felt incredibly supported the whole time. She made the room a little oasis which I truly believe contributed to me relaxing and ultimately having a smooth delivery. She is the best - anyone would be lucky to have her on their team. <3

Our experience with Liz was truly wonderful! With Liz, you will feel safe, heard, & held through one of the most important moments of your life. When we initially spoke, it was probably 2 minutes into the conversation when we knew she was the right doula. The call ended, my husband & I looked at each other & immediately said, "I LOVED her." Liz laid out everything that we should expect, & did it in a way where we didn't feel judged. Others had tried to convince us that we had unresolved trauma, or had made mistakes in previous births. Liz's trust in us knowing what we needed was so reassuring. During the pregnancy, Liz is there if you need her, checking in to see how appts. went, & getting a feel for your mindset approaching birth. Liz was vital in my ability to remain calm as my due date came, then passed by 9 days! We discussd ways to help encourage labor, different scenarios as 42 weeks approached, & reassurances that my baby & body knew what they were doing. Being a 3rd time mom I really thought I knew it all, but when things went so much longer than we all expected, I was so grateful to have Liz's calm & confident presence. At OBC, Liz arrived exactly when I needed her. She easily fit into the flow of labor offering assistance to me, & guiding my husband to help through contractions. Liz understands when to step to the forefront, & also when to hang back. Her experience & presence in the birthing space made me feel more supported & calm than I had previously. My labor was fast, but I never felt like I lost control. Liz took stunning photos during birth, capturing all of the phases of labor, recovery, & beautiful shots of the baby. The photos will be cherished by our family for the rest of our lives! Liz doesn't disappear after you're done having the baby. She checks in during your recovery at home, & even comes to visit. We loved working with Liz!

I’ve been working with childbearing families in northern New Jersey for many years, and I strive to bring the knowledge and experience I’ve gained to each of my clients. My great joy is helping people find their own path, and trying to make it more comfy along the way.

Recent review

When I contacted Britt, I was 12 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I really desired to have a relationship with my doctor, but since most OBGYN practices have you seeing multiple professionals, I was not getting that. I was desiring to go the natural birth-in-a-hospital route and hearing other friends’ stories, a doula sounded like the perfect fit. Britt was recommended by one of my friends who had Britt attend and help at all three of her babies’ births. Britt offered us a birthing course in our home, she gave us literature and resources to use an practice as we anticipated our first birth, she was ALWAYS responsive when texted or called, was informed about alternatives such as the Fresh Test, and she was a great help and encouragement to my husband pre-birth, during labor and delivery and after birth. Britt knew what I wanted - when we got to the hospital and we were almost put into a room without a tub, she was there ADVOCATING for us (since a tub room was available and it was my hope to labor in one). Britt is levelheaded, intelligent, witty, and has an excellent sense of humor. She tells it like it is. She is loving and compassionate - truly a gift from heaven. She checked in on me all throughout my pregnancy and after my baby was born. As she put it to me, “Once your doula, always your doula.” To put it simply, hire Britt as your doula. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
