I am a Midwife that serves the greater Twin Cities metro. I provide prenatal, birth and postpartum care for families wanting a home birth. I offer home birth, water birth, VBAC and some breech options. I also offer IUI/ICI and other conception and well care needs.

My name is Kelly Martin, and I am a Licensed Certified Professional Midwife located in the Twin Cities South Metro. Coming from a background of 30 years as a Birth Doula, it has been my experience that pregnancy, labor, and birth have the potential to transform individual, family, and a communities healthy birth practices by integrating current evidence-based research standards of practice with holistic midwifery wisdom. I am a licensed midwife practicing in Minnesota. I have two office locations in the South Metropolitan area of the Twin Cities: One located in Elko New Market, and the other in Montgomery. I have served the birthing community for over 30 years. Savita began her own primary care practice in 1992 and has attended over a thousand out-of-hospital births. She holds several professional and advanced certifications and is a student preceptor for her professional organization. Savita served as Treasurer for The Wisconsin Guild of Midwives from 2010 – 2016. I am the owner/founder of Embracing Motherhood Doula Services, LLC. My decision to become a doula came from my own personal experience with childbirth. I have been blessed to bring three beautiful children into the world, and each birth has been a unique part of my journey. The birth of my first child was especially challenging. While I had incredible support from my husband, it was his first birth experience too, and neither of us really knew what to expect. Because of COVID, we weren't able to take a childbirth class, and looking back, I wish I had known about doulas. I would have hired one in a heartbeat. The knowledge, guidance, and support I have now would have made such a difference during that experience. That experience inspired me to become the support I wish I had.
