About me

Hello everyone, my name is Caitlin Swartz. I am a DONA International trained doula working toward my Certification with DONA. I am located in Baldwin, WI. I am the owner/founder of Embracing Motherhood Doula Services, LLC. My decision to become a doula came from my own personal experience with childbirth. I have been blessed to bring three beautiful children into the world, and each birth has been a unique part of my journey. The birth of my first child was especially challenging. While I had incredible support from my husband, it was his first birth experience too, and neither of us really knew what to expect. Because of COVID, we weren't able to take a childbirth class, and looking back, I wish I had known about doulas. I would have hired one in a heartbeat. The knowledge, guidance, and support I have now would have made such a difference during that experience. That experience inspired me to become the support I wish I had. I am passionate about helping women feel informed, supported, and empowered throughout pregnancy and birth. My goal is to provide continuous emotional, physical, and informational support during labor, helping you navigate the process with confidence. Whether it's advocating for your wishes, suggesting comfort measures, helping you move into different labor positions, or simply offering a calming presence, I want to help make your birth experience as peaceful and empowering as possible. It would be an honor to walk alongside you as you welcome your little one into the world.
