I believe birth is beautiful, empowering, and transformative. It does not need to be coerced, feared or walked alone. I practice trauma informed, perinatal, birth, and postpartum support for all birthing bodies, couples, single and single by choice parents, adoptive parents, and families on their surrogacy journeys. My support is queer competent, weight inclusive and intersectional, and it is always my priority to support people getting the care that helps them feel safe and seen, essential to the health and wellness of both baby and family. I love my job! Supporting parents through labor, birth and postpartum is amazing, and rewarding, and what I feel called to do. I am a birth and postpartum doula, as well as a childbirth educator and a lactation educator. Having an understanding of your options is a big part of preventing birth trauma. Educating parents about how they can better navigate their labor and the medical system is a big part of what I do. I support folks emotionally, physically, with information/resources, and with advocacy (and photo documentation of their labor). We usually have some fun too!
