Welcome! I'm 19 yr old majored in fashion and CPR certified. I gained childcare experiences through caring for my younger siblings ( now ages 9-13 ) and have had past families to babysit. My superpower is naturally connecting with kids and enjoy keeping up with current trends, which helps me build trust and keep them engaged. I love organizing fun activities; whether it’s crafts, outdoor games, or educational apps. I’m comfortable watching multiple children at once. I don't mind light housework or changing diapers as needed. I'm also open to preparing meals since I grew up helping my mom cook asian dishes. When it comes to discipline, I'm comfortable reassuring them of safety and household rules. I believe patience and communication is key. I have had professional experience in the fast food industry, as well as retail and grocery. So I tend to prioritize cleanliness, communication, and well-being. Feel free to ask questions! :)

I officially began my birth work journey in 2018 and have gone on to work as a doula, lactation counselor, and birth assistant. I feel the idea of supporting women in their birth journey actually took root with my firstborn in 1994. I loved and cherished the guidance I received from other women and provide the care that meant so much to me. I have 4 grown children 2 of which were hospital births and 2 home births. I feel honored to be able to share my experience with women and families. I approach birth holistically. Hi, my name is Chante Shine. I am a wife, mother and cancer survivor. It was after my own two wildly different but equally amazing birth experiences I realized that I had a passion for birth. For years afterward, I helped to guide my friends through their birth journeys but after my life changing struggles in 2022 I decided, life is short and there is not a minute to waste! So, in 2023 I decided to make it official and get my Birth Doula Certification. I also went ahead and added Postpartum Doula, Breastfeeding Counselor and Childbirth Educator Certifications to my agenda! I am currently working my way through these classes, and I could not be more excited and thrilled to start working with expecting parents such as yourselves!
