I hired Aniya as my labor photographer for my birth earlier this month, and she was an absolute pleasure to work with. This was my first baby and I was thrilled to have someone like her by my side. Although she was just my photographer, she truly went above and beyond during my last few weeks of pregnancy. She checked up on me, gave me advice, and helped ease my nerves a ton. During my actual labor, she was responsive and ready to come to the hospital even in the dead of night. She arrived when I was about 7cm dilated. I was in complete labor land and didn’t manage to say a single word to her, but she got right to work. She wasn’t in the way of anyone or anything, and got SO many beautiful shots. I feel so blessed to have these moments captured forever. This was one of the best decisions I could have made!

When I found out I was pregnant I knew absolutely nothing about pregnancy or giving birth, but Elissa gave me all the information and support I needed to feel confident and ready. Through our meetings and conversations throughout my pregnancy I felt so at ease knowing I had her In my corner. She's extremely knowledgeable, comforting, and reliable. She came to my house to help me through early stages of labor, and eventually met me at the hospital. She set up my hospital room for me to create such a peaceful space, and made sure my care team knew my birth plan. It made all the difference knowing she would be my advocate, so I was able to focus solely on myself and getting through labor. She helped me through every round of contractions, and to this day I can still hear her voice reminding me of my strength. She visited me a few weeks after giving birth, and I knew if I had any questions I could always go to her. I am so thankful for her, and I would 100% recommend her to anyone and everyone.

Embracing Empowerment: My Home Birth Experience: Choosing a home birth was transformative for me. I had the absolute best birthing experience!! I don’t even know where to begin. She came into my life at a time when I was drained, overwhelmed, and struggling as a single mom to newborn twins. Full-spectrum means that I am trained and experienced in supporting families through the whole range of pregnancy experiences, including trying to conceive, pregnancy, labor, postpartum, pregnancy loss, and/or abortion. All of my work is grounded in supporting folks in creating the families they want, when they want to, and how they want to. This looks like: accompanying you through the many decision points in your pregnancy and parenting journey, providing emotional and logistical care throughout this time of great transformation, and making sure you are connected to the resources you need to make the best decisions for yourself and your family.

We didn’t know we needed Chloe until we met her. It wasn’t until very late into my pregnancy, sometime around week 38, that we reached out to her for post-partum doula services and she was very flexible in accommodating us. As soon as we met her, we knew she was the person who would be now part of our journey as first-time parents. She was caring, attentive, listened to our concerns, and graciously supported us through every transition. I had a complicated delivery and recovery, and her calming and reassuring presence allowed me to heal as my husband and I learned how to care for our newborn. She was very flexible in creating a schedule that adapted to our needs week by week, and always brought nourishing food, sometimes bringing extra for other family members. Looking back, the early weeks of post-partum were extremely difficult mentally and physically since I had undergone a C-section, but her support was essential in getting us organized, learning how to prepare bottles, showing us positions to feed the baby, techniques for soothing, how to baby-wear, how to handle visitors and protect our boundaries, guiding my husband on how to be a helpful partner, and even be a crying shoulder when things got tough. Beyond being a doula, she’s also helped us with some babysitting now that our baby is older. It is comforting to know that our baby is cared for by someone who met our baby from birth and was familiar with our home dynamics. Hands down, she is our #1 option when we need someone to take care of our baby so we can have time for self care - which is also something she emphasized since day 1. If this was a voice message, it would consist of 10-15 minutes of nothing but good stories and praises for her - so this is our short and sweet version. We cannot recommend Chloe enough as a doula. She’s the best!

I have never hired a doula before, but with this 4th baby and having complicated past births, I knew I needed support with this pregnancy. Thank gd and with Hanna's help, this birth was truly a great and safe experience. As an anxious person, Hanna's approach provided the clarity I need throughout pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. She took care that we looked to my past experiences to prevent complications with this birth. Hanna also took several pictures throughout labor and delivery which I've never had before and cherish today! She has been available round the clock for lactation support and 100% would not be nursing my baby still if it weren't for her guidance!
