Daisy grew up in a small town in Alaska with her 6 siblings. She has always had a huge interest in pregnancy and birth, as she attended many of her aunts midwife prenatal visits and even one of her births at a young age. In January 2019, Daisy decided to move forward in pursuing a job in the birth worker world. She discovered what a birth doula was and soon found a certification program in Nashville TN that offered everything she was wanting. She was working in the Army as a military police at the same time as she was doing her certification, so the process took a little longer than expected but it allowed her to truly educate herself and work towards this new lifestyle for herself. When not doing birth work, Daisy enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and his three children. They do many outdoor activities to include; water parks, camping, fishing, and swimming. Daisy is certified as a labor and birth doula through Blissful Birthing TN, certified as a childbirth educator through Childbirth International, and certified as a placenta encapsulation specialist through Brilliant Birth Academy. She is also trained as a postpartum doula through Blissful Birthing TN.

My personal experiences with pregnancy, birth, and motherhood have shaped the way I support families. Motherhood has stretched me, softened me, and strengthened me in ways I never expected. I also openly share part of my story that has deeply shaped who I am today. I have a T-12 spinal cord injury. While this injury is part of my journey, it does not limit me from doing this work. If anything, it has empowered me to pursue it even more wholeheartedly. I am fully capable of offering hands-on support and care to the families I serve. While I do have a few small limitations, they are very minor, and I am always happy to have open conversations about them. More than anything, my injury has strengthened my resilience, compassion, and perspective on life. I truly believe God has used every part of my journey, both the beautiful and the difficult. It has molded me into the woman I am today. Through challenges, He has grown my faith, deepened my empathy, and given me a greater understanding of perseverance, grace, and the importance of support during vulnerable seasons of life. Those experiences are something I carry with me into every birth and postpartum space I enter. After moving to Tennessee, I felt deeply called to serve families within my community. My goal is to create a calm, supportive, and judgment-free space where parents feel confident, educated, and cared for throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
